Slow and steady, that was always how it was. Foggy brown eyes that could never see, long grey legs that would never run; a heart that would never soar. Elise felt around the floor of the plains with her muddy black snout, black tassel swaying above her back as her eyes stared blankly at the ground, never catching the sight of anything besides a never ending black hole. Pale audits perk forwards as her highly sensitive nares pressed downwards on cold hard stone, the solid damp floor of the large caverns. It was cool here, dark like her vision, and calm. The only sounds she could pick up, even with her highly acute hearing, was the sounds of her own breathing, water dropping from the ceiling, and the paw steps of another.

Cautiously, Elise lifted her dark mask skyward, nasals twitching at the stench of the male, grey auds leading her towards the ledge he rested upon as he black face returned to feeling the floor and the walls. Placing her paws upon the damp rock walls of the cavern, Elise lifted her upper body into a stand on her hinds and prodded the sleepy gentleman with her nose. Smiling softly as she pulled away, she carefully sat back on the floor.

"Good evening, sir." She laughed softly, soft musical voice barely audible not to disturb her sensitive hearing. "I am Elise. I truly wish I could see you, and myself for that matter." She chuckled gently, dark tail slapping the cold stone beneath her dampened rump.

"Follow me."
