Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

What the report was to include, she wasn't entirely sure. All she knew was that Riopat had been tending to quite a few wolves and it had something to do with that - pups, she imagined. As far as Cersei knew, pups could really take it out of their parents both physically and, well, emotionally. She'd certainly been guilty of that, even now as an adult. Whatever it would be, though, she'd ensure she did her best to not only remember it but to consider what exactly it meant for her and the pack. As her female, she imagined all this information would some day pay off even if she didn't really want icky children. It was still good to know, as was the general nature of their lead Healer. Whatever she was like, she was pretty. Tall, fair, womanly. Cersei was tall, sure, but she was lanky and sharp.

Perhaps that added to her nervousness, as much as she tried to suck it up and act as if nothing could phase her. At least, she figured, the woman's words were... kind, gentle, and yet surprisingly strong. It came as no surprise that she had made it to the top of her field - Cersei nodded along to each word, grinning to herself as the information came. Okay, it was her time to shine!

"Viora is leading a hunt as we speak. Even if they can bring a number of smaller prey, that should cover the mothers for some time along with the rest of the pack. Perhaps it could be worth approaching another pack to aid with a hunt? We could take something like a moose then."

As much as she didn't want to speak of Viora, it had to be done. The girl was intending to be a hunter, so she would at least have some worth soon enough. Cersei just hoped she wouldn't get ahead of her... no way would she bow to that awful girl. Besides, Cersei was sure her idea was good! Surely another pack had the same issue. If they worked together, they could bring home something even bigger for all of them. Father had always talked about strengthening ties and whatnot. She breathed a sigh of relief to herself, looking briefly to her paws just as Riopat seemed to perk up excitedly. It took her a moment to figure out her thoughts as she looked back into the depths of Riopat's eyes, but eventually her tail bounced behind her cheerfully.

"Everything! Father says you made Rogue look like a wolf again. I think that'd take a lot of work to learn but I want to be at that level one day! Do you want to teach? I don't want to burden. It's just that they say you're the best."
