The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.
His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.
"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."
It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.
"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."
The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

 ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ Athene and Zev had just only given their introductions when a voice cut through the trees, carried on the wind like a beckoning call. Briefly, her ambers crossed to lay upon Skrillex’s own before she allowed her paws to cross over the boundary and into the territory. While they had not officially been accepted by him as members to the pack, the Alphess was calling and Athene had decided she would present herself to the Queen. Her hackles raised slightly and auds pinned, listening to those behind to see if he would attack her for crossing the boundary without permission but he did not. Instead, it seemed he had reached the same conclusion that Athene herself had made – that the Alphess’ call was not only for current pack members, but also those wishing to join. Her stride paused as she turned back to her mate, brows raising, asking silently if he would be joining her. Her action would normally be a social faux pas, so she would not fault him if he hesitated or failed to move to her side… Athene had always been daring and pushed her boundaries. She was willing to risk injury to prove that she and Zev would be worthy of being called members. Still, she was relieved when he moved to her side, following her without a complaint. Her striped pelt flickered as she moved toward the interior, nares flaring to pick up the scent of the Alphess. It had been abundant at the boundary as it was hers that marked the edge of the terra, so tracking her down was relatively simple. Still, her motions were slower than they were normally as her gaze was constantly trailing down to ensure she did not err in her step. The result was that she moved with deliberate, graceful steps. Briefly she wondered if this pack had been the correct choice. She had wondered whether she should have joined her sister in Aurora Borealis. She had not even bothered to travel there, however, for she had come to the decision that she and her sister were no longer meant to rely on one another. They had originally joined Spring Grounds together, but that had been an utter mistake. It had proved to be a poor fit and it had become apparent that as adults, they would lead separate lives. For better or for worse, this was where she was now in life… with Zev by her side rather than Hellene. Snapping out of her thoughts and into the present, her honey orbs set upon the Alphess sitting alone in a clearing upon a rock. Athene approached before extending a limb, her bodice leaning backward to set herself into a low bow. As before, she spoke in verse, her words almost exactly the same as had been before. “I am Athene and this is my mate Zev is his name. Now to set you straight – We wish to join the ranks of this pack I assure you, of strengths we do not lack. I myself was born into a family Where we were raised as we should aptly My skills set me as a warrior apart Thus I have strength, wisdom, and heart. ” Falling silent, she straighted herself and raised her gaze til she held the gaze of the Alphess. ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ |
