Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

How can you know which way to go
rhae

As he would always, as would she- he beckoned her call. Ravenous, wide teal eyes take in the sight of him, of her other half, her soul, her heart, her very existence. It was all contained within one wolf, the one before her- though slivers were indeed safe in the possession of each of her children. After all, they were each two parts- one part Iblis, and one part Rhae, united to make a whole. And perfect they were, each and every one of them. The thought of her children was enough to warm her chest, but the one before her- that was enough to set her veins alight in flame and to boil her very blood. In the most pleasant of ways, of course.

His voice rang out in a gentle bark, filling the space between him as he himself soon did. It was his signature common courtesy, her Iblis, her knight and gentleman wrapped all up in one. The familiar feel to him and to their greeting brought a warm and more than earnest smile to her rather handsome features. For while she was of course beautiful, Rhae had always been on the large side, and there was a rather handsome rugged beauty about her. Her name is his first word to her, and it almost has her swooning. Just hearing his voice as it were, in all its glory was more than intoxicating to her. And then he gifted her with his touch, his dark, earthy muzzle touching her own paler crθme and cinnamon painted one, her bright eyes immediately finding their closure in the simple comfort he gave.

She was in paradise again, home at last, and she did not intend to go again. Before he can pull away to speak again, she’s murmuring her words for him softly, almost muffled against his fur. “My Iblis I have missed you so.” And when he does pull away, his words bring a certain curiosity forth within her. Tilting her rather large skull to the right side, Rhae gazed quietly and patiently upon her imprint for a moment, considering her words before continuing. “I come from a place far in the North- a place where someone like you would find it very difficult to remain standing.” Her tones were serious and even somber- but of course there was a certain playful gleam in her gaze as she watched him and gently bumped her nuzzle against his own, making her jest toward him obvious. She had never spoken of her past to much anyone at all, even Iblis, but there was a first time for everything.

”My Mother and Father were.. ambassadors, of a sort, for my birth pack. They were the wolves everyone went to with a problem, or a question, or just another soul to speak with.” Pausing, she kept her eyes on him to observe his reactions, and even to try and get a glimpse to what was going on in his own mind, before continuing. “They were killed by a wolf within the pack, but there was none who knew who. When they came and found me- Iblis, I should have told you. I.. ” For the first time since knowing him, Rhae seemed to be at a loss for words. And it was more than true. When she had first heard the news of what had happened, she had acted completely unlike herself. Immediately gone was the rational wise creature she had always been- replaced by a heathen hell bent on revenge. The paler wolf had always known her strength and her capabilities, but she had not been aware of just how far that went. Now she knew, but that was perhaps a story for another time.

Shaking her skull slightly, as if to clear her head, her gaze which had taken on a far away look returned to focus on her Iblis, her usual smile for him gracing her features as she once again leaned close to him. Meshing their fur together, she gave a gentle sigh as her voice spoke so sweetly to him, her nuzzle just beneath his and nudging upward as she did. “There is nothing to forgive, my sweet, my love. Tell me, what has happened- what worries you so?” Pulling away only slightly, she was able to gaze at him expectantly, unable to help the grin permanently etched upon her features at the mere sight of him. She could never truly tire of him, no matter what- she was he and he was she. They were one in the same, two halves to a whole all wrapped up in one.
