Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

The mere thought of gaining the courage to approach a border and ask for acceptance was terrifying, pure and simple. Sekera needed one though, she was drained and tired from being alone all of these years since the meteor. Her life needed to being again and starting fresh in a pack was the only way she was going to be able to do that. The white and red female sighed, her tail flicking, touching the ruddy red-brown spots that were on her sides and hips, hiding them for a few seconds before re-wrapping her tail around her body. She shifted weight off of her front left paw, it ached and she was sure she must’ve stepped wrong somehow, but she wasn’t sure just yet.

Her fable styled eyes looked out when she saw the alpha approach, her shoulders drooped, her head hung just enough to show that she was in no was a threat to anyone. The white, and mixed hues of the alpha stood out as he approached, his frame was much, much bigger than her small, minisucle frame.

He spoke, and I waited a beat before responding. “It is, I am Sekera, it is a pleasure to meet you. I’ve never done this so, I’m sure I’m bound to mess it up. I’m looking for a place I may be able to call home, and was wondering if I may try my hand at earing a place here…

Her voice shook a little as she stood within front of him, She was so nervous, she though she’d pass out. Silly girl.
