Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

i'm your worst nightmare, and you're my biggest fear

Oh, it was a delight to finally be away and out of the stifling air of those damn caverns. The fresh air was a blessing to the fallen angel and was taken as quickly as she was provided the opportunity to do so. With Antoinette watching the girls she was free to go and do as she pleased, though she was not entirely prepared for what ambush was to occur only moments later.

She directed herself to slip away into the confines of the wood that lay near to the labyrinth of caverns and to become nothing more than a black wraith upon the land, silent and graceful in her movement. Motherhood could not destroy what a pristine specimen Naamah knew that she was and she would let it show. She should have been aware of the shadow that now stalked her, but perhaps it was her lack of attentiveness and desensitization from life within the grotto that has weakened her instincts. She cannot deny that she was a bit startled when he darted in front of her, causing her to halt in her movement as he stood steadfastly and with a rather ugly expression upon his features. "Darling, don't you know that scowling makes you unattractive?" She coos softly as she regards him, though truly, not many things could cause Enderly to be repulsive in her eyes.

His questions are spat rather angrily and when he moves away, she pursues him like she were his own shadow, her demeanor still collected and calm as always. "Why yes, I have. Though I'm sure she is smart enough to figure out the truth one day. It sated Samil's temperamental self for a bit at least.." It had been one of Naamah's fears that he would reject the child and perhaps try to cull it, though she would have never allowed such a thing to happen. "Now, now.. why so sullen?" Her words are a soothing song brought to the world around them, always gentle and sometimes tainted with a bit of sensuality. But always as refined as she appeared to be.
