I know that the elk has no chance, not with Andras holding it down. He is a monster of a wolf and he gets what he wants when he puts his mind to it. No wonder Lillith was entranced. I think back to my recent encounter with Leonidas and how we fought it out seemingly over nothing only to have a light conversation as we dripped with blood and panted in breath. Is that the kind of male I'm destined to be with? I shake my head of such thoughts. I don't need to be thinking about a mate and romance. I need to be persistant to get what I want. I need to be determined to become the fighter I want to be. As Andras works on the spine, I move for the elk's throat and I hit gold. The blood seeps down my throat and I know that the elk is slowly dying but our job is not finished. Andras wants its head. I make sure that the blood is flowing like a river before I look to him for the next command. He is working on the flesh with a fervor, his jaws unlocking only to lock down again and again. I watch, slightly mesmerized before he motions for me. Knowing what I have to do, I move to his side and latch on, moving parallel to him to get the job done a little faster. As he moves the flesh one way, I move it another to tear the flesh apart even faster, like a two person tree saw. I can feel the muscle tissue breaking down between our jaws as we work on the corpse, the spine breaking in his jaws but we still have to sever it completely. I work my way down to the bone where I am and grab at the vertebae, snarling as I thrash my head to break it off completely. When I finally do get the piece separated, I toss it to the side for later gnawing before turning back to the tissue to continue the last of the work. I glance up at Andras, wondering how his progress is doing.
