There is an undeniable feeling. Her face does wiggle into his mind, like a relentless parasite that refuses to be removed. He had no choice but to acknowledge her deep within. She was a demon of Iromar, a dark woman who wishes for power, who brings forth power with her very gaze. Yet he felt her presence like waves, at times she was intense, and on other moons it was as if she was fading, a star glittering far in the distance.
She was strong as of now. He could feel a pang in his heart that drove him like something was biting at his heels. He could not ignore their bite, like he could not ignore the feeling of snow clinging to his fur. Winter was a month most beautiful and a month most harsh- she was one much like winter, who calls him out into the caves and darkness.
He moves with purpose from his sheltered home at the edge of Diveen. The caves were calling, an echo in the dark that steals his blue eyes. His pace is a decent trot, and he was unsure what exactly brings him here. He remembers being here once before, gazing through the rocks with the company of two others. It was a pleasant night indeed, and he remembers it with fondness. He had not been back since, but he was coming back now with a keen curiosity.
He pauses as he turns into the cave. His ears perk as he looks within. Paws of black carry him with great skill into the face of the cave. He is surprisingly swift and nimble. He was a traveler by heart, an explorer who needed to be well-footed. Trenus and Diveen were not exactly flat places, and with ease he came to stand closer to the entrance, blue eyes gazing into the darkness, feeling his skin tightening up. His nose inhales and he feels intense, the slight taste of something familiar in the air, familiar and completed unforgettable.
And then his voice rings, only slightly in this moment. It is a gentle whine, a call out to whatever may be in there.
