DEATH FOR MY BIRTHDAY

I WANT DEATH; DEATH FOR MY BIRTHDAY

As a lead stallion of a successful herd anonymity wasn't a luxury you could have. Rhaego was young, yes, but he was not deaf and he was not dumb. He had gathered plenty of whispers during his short time in this land. Of course others had spoke of Sahin and his paradise. The buckskin mutt wasn't one to forget such whispers. He was glad he got to meet the stallion now, a face to a name was what he had now.

He took a moment longer to watch the ways the leaves danced about and the way the sun filtered in before turning his attention back to the older boy. Rhaego couldn't help but chuckle at Sahin's words, nodding his head slightly. "Yes, I couldn't imagine that you wouldn't." After all, one doesn't get to have a big family unless one has at least put up a little fight in their life. Rhaego could only imagine what Sahin must have been like in his younger days. Perhaps he had been a great warrior, or perhaps he was more of the brilliant speaker types. There was really no way for him to be completely sure.

Now, the next part of the gold stallions speech seemed to catch him off guard. He listened intently to the words of his predecessor, nodding slowly to show his attention. He hadn't even thought about what he planned to do after everything went down. He let the other finish speaking before he cleared his throat, offering a soft shake of his head.

"I have no intention of forcing you or your family away or into harms way." Rhaego was not a man of cruelty nor did he intend on making anyone's family suffer. "You have every invitation to stay or go as you please. I do not wish to rule over any of the mares of your family or you. In fact, it would be an honor if you would stay." There was a moment where Rhaego paused, seemingly caught up in a thought for a moment or two before lowering his voice just a bit as he continued. "In all honesty, if you were willing, I would quite like your input on things. After all, you have had great success and I am a firm believer in learning from the past." he said, glancing about the land as if he hoped no others would have heard him. It was an odd thing from where he came from to see another stallion be it younger or not to willing seek advice from another.
