Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

_________________________________________________________________________ The gray and white teen was stalking silently through the trees. Just as her trainer had taught her. Swift as a deer. Quiet as a shadow. Quick as a snake. Calm as still water. Strong as a bear. Fierce as a wolverine. His words echoed in her mind as he practiced stalking through the trees, as if she was tracking someone. But really she was tracking absolutely nothing, just letting her paws carry her through the trees, with no true purpose. But she knew that she had to practice, or she would lose everything that her trainer had taught her. Nymeria was not the typical female. She would much rather rough house with the boys and practice her fighting skills than sit around with the other females. At least that’s what the females in her birth pack had been like. Her mother and sister were always so boring, just sitting around and gossiping. The teen wanted no part of that. She would sneak out with her brother, or as her sister always insisted, her bastard brother, and the two of them would practice their fighting techniques together. Sometimes her older brother would join them. He was okay with her learning how to fight unlike her sister and mother. Grey Wind, her brother, and Ghost their half-brother, was who she had always been closest to at home and she missed them dearly. Even though Lady, her sister, always instead that Ghost was not their true brother she disagreed. Ghost had always been more than kind to her and she truly loved him as a brother. And so with a deep sigh she walked pointlessly through the trees. She really did miss the rest of her family. Living with a new pack and her sister was nice, but Nymeria missed the excitement and adventure that came with living with her old pack. Everyday was new. Sneaking off with Ghost or Grey Wind when they were younger to go off and play fight was her favorite. And now she was just stuck with her stupid sister. Lady was so stuck up and annoying that Nymeria desperately needed time away from her. Whenever the two of them were left alone for two long they would just fight about everything and anything. Every time Nymeria did something that was ‘unlady-like’ her sister would get upset and yell at her. And that occurred at least on a daily basis. And so the young teen had ran off on her own, escaping her sister for a while. And as she wandered around her new home she stumbled upon a large mountain. It looked to be the perfect place to run around and climb. And so she decided she would do just that. And with a slight giggle her powerful limbs pushed off of the ground and she leapt onto the rocks, climbing higher and higher up the cliff. The wind picked up as she went higher and higher on the rocks. Her nails helped her cling to the rocks surface so she didn’t fall. The femme knew exactly where to put her paws, making sure she wouldn’t fall and get herself hurt. She did not need to stumble back to her sister with an injury. By the time Nymeria reached a high point in the cliff she was panting, sweat clinging to her pelt and she decided to pause for a rest. She found a spot that had plenty of room for her and perhaps one or two other lupines to lie down. And so she plopped herself down on the ground with as much unlady-like grace she could manage. Since Lady was not around she did not need to act different at all, she could entirely be herself out here on her own. Her front legs were splayed out in front of her, tongue out and ears perked to the sounds around her as the wind ruffled her fur. And if she happened to run into anyone else her annoying sister would not be there to tell her to be quiet or that she was being annoying. Right now she was just Nymeria.
