IT'S OKAY FOR YOU TO HATE ME

The gentle yet persistent cooing of the birds echoed through the leaves of one of the many oak trees that lounged in the inhabitants of his home. A gust of wind blew past him making the pale brute lift his head from where he grazed and look out across the vast thicket. Within a couple of weeks those same birds that kept him company would leave to head south for the winter. Winter, it would be his first one here in the forest or second? He couldn’t remember how long he’d been with Jabberwocky before he took over – but he did not think it had been anytime during the actual winter

Most of the tress aside from the long skinny pines and deep oval oaks turned calm shades of orange, reds and darker browns. Leaves littered every inch of the lithosphere making it impossible to move around quietly. With every step one took leaves would crunch beneath your weight and now is no different as the blued eyed pale stallion headed to the right figuring he’d quench his thirst at the lake. After he’d go searching for his beautiful perlino who he’d grown to long for when she wasn’t near.

Slipping through various trunks that belonged to sweet smelling maples a field gave way opening up a small circle of grass. Near the middle stood just the girl he was looking for - his ceasisus - she grazed idly as though she is lost in solitude and a pang of guilt swept through his nerves. Since the attack Lyden had been busy ensuring all of his family was safe from the predators and other hormone driven stallions who wanted to spread their seed.

However; much to his attempts Lyden was not able to keep everyone safe and even though dock and wandered away from the forest before she was raped he still felt as though it was his fault. He should have followed her, protected her, and shown her that even though she and her sisters are still new to the forest – that he would protect all three of them from harm’s way. He had failed although – miserably and Lyden hadn’t known what to say to the sisters since he saw them huddled together. A part of him felt ashamed and now even though he would do anything to protect them [including dock] – Lyden feared that they wouldn’t quite believe him.

Opening his pale muzzle a deep longing nicker erupted through his vocals as he closed in the distance that separated them. Once he got near her Lyden pushed his nose into her shoulder taking in her scent with a deep breath before draping his neck over her withers. ”you and I…” Lyden paused unsure on what to say. He felt scared to loose her and is still aware that he still may ”we can be together until the skies are no longer blue” he smiled now thinking of it ”no matter what”
