Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

It is hard to explain what I came here for. But my main reason I came was because I am worried about my dad and I cannot do anything for him. My dad is feeling terrible ever since Devil had been... Well. I know my dad enough to understand that Devil meant a lot to him, that is why I came here. The only wolf I know who could change how my dad is acting lately is him. I know that I am not the best wolf to explain the situation, but I am trying. But I am surprised by what I heard as he speaks.

Devil asks me if I think it will really make a difference. My head tilts some to the question. Does he really think it will not?

- He looks forward to you. You mean a lot to him. I know that you can’t go back to that pack. But you don’t have to go there. I can… I can draw him out and then you could talk.. I know that it will make a great difference. He is confused. I know that he is confused, like I was. Just by talking to him, it would make all the difference.

I offered myself to be this bridge between both of them. I just wanted my dad to feel better, to… be the same as he had been before. He is terrible at lying or pretending that everything is alright. It was clear that everything was not alright.

- I just wanted you to talk to him. Please.
