The sound of rushing water floated through the air. All was silent, but the river and the soft summer breeze. Suddenly, a bird cried out, and wings fluttered. A small bird flew up from the trees and away from the river. A light, pale, brown she-wolf padded through the forest, ignoring the scattering of small animals around her. Her green eyes were locked on path before her. She pricked her white tipped ears as the sound of rushing water grew louder.
As the trees thinned out, the brown she-wolf slowed her pace. The soft grass gradually turned to stone, and she stopped at the edge of the tree line. A large flat rock slopped down to the waters edge, and the large river before her bubbled as it rushed past. The brown she-wolf padded down the rock, the clicking of her claws was drowned out by the thundering sound of the river. Water sprayed up and began to soak the she-wolfs pelt, but she didn't seem to mind. She bent her head down, and lapped at the water, her white muzzle turned gray from the water.
She turned away and padded back up the rock, shaking her pelt so it was ruffled and would dry in the sun and the breeze. She looked up at the sky. The sun was at it's highest. She blinked the brightness from her eyes and sniffed the air. Her stomach growled, but she didn't have the energy to go hunt. She crouched in the shade, her ears pricked. The sound of the river drowned out the rustling of creatures in the forest and she had to wait until she spotted her prey. She had targeted a large, plump, brown rabbit that was nibbling the grass just a few paces ahead of her. The rabbit didn't seem to notice her, and she leaped on it. Pinning it down with her small paws she made a swift kill. Padding away from her hunting spot, the rabbit dangling from her jaws, she went into the sunlight to eat. She ate her fill of the rabbit, leaving a little meat left on it. She laid down on her side closing her eyes. enjoying the warmth of the sun beating down on her. She slowly dozed off, her breathing slowing a bit, and enjoyed the warmth of the day, with her belly full.

OOC: Owls Feather is a light brown she-wolf. She has white tipped ears, short, white stockings. She has a white muzzle, with black flecks and a dark black nose. She also has a white belly that stretches up a little to her lower chest. She has dark brown eyes, and is two years old. She has never been to Romance River before, lives as a loner, and will have no idea why a male would approach her, so if you are interested in her, approach her as any loner would approach another, even if you are in another pack or something...I am a very good RPer and yeah...
Sorry if this is bad, it isn't my best. <_>
