a promise is a cloud

A'idah

A promise is a cloud, rain is fulfillment

Anxiety pricks at her chestnut hide, a thin sheen of sweat has broken out across her delicate nape. The tension between all of them was beginning to take its toll on her, she could feel a bit of the hostility working its way into her mind. Nervously her curved ears flicker atop of her crown, then the black mare speaks, more like spits a few words at her. Get away from him, orospu." Confusion washes over her pretty face, why would she? He had invited her to the desert, an invitation that she had accepted. He had wanted her to come here and explain her experiences, but why should she indulge such personal information to a mare who clearly already hated her?

From the sands the blind stallion pulled himself to his hooves, noticeably weary from the efforts. Shortly after standing, he began to yell at all of them, and A'idah was unsure of why he was yelling. She hadn't even spoken a word to any of them yet, she had just followed Orhan back to the desert. Down her sloped nose she stares at the blind stallion, unsure of why he was so angry with her. She had never met him before, not even trying to cause him any harm. "I am not here to harm you." She ignores his other words but tries to give the blind horse assurance that she was not here to hurt him.

Orhan begins to speak once again but this time to the black mare, introducing them, than continuing to tell her that she would not hurt either of them. As the few seconds tick by, A'idah can feel the heat beating down on her back. The continuos crash of the waves upon the sandy beach, even the buzz of the flies that bombarded them in these heat. All of these sounds seemed so loud, she could feel a bit of panic rising in her chest as Orhan continues to speak to Ana. Would this mare really try to hurt her? If she needed she would try her best to defend herself from any attack ,but she had a feeling that this mare was more deadly than the small glimpse she had seen of her.

"I have come here to offer my help, with some of the information I have acquired in my travels. If you still do not want me here after what I have to say, I will leave... " She pauses, wondering if she should tell them that she wanted to stay, but she bit her tongue until the right moment.
