A lot had changed since their separation three years ago. Three years. A long time in anyone’s book. Sinclair had been left alone to fend for himself since the age of two. He had always assumed that Sinopa and his brother Hiram had both left him here together. Hiram had always had a way of clinging to her after all as pups. Sinclair moved on without. Sure it hurt for a while… A long while in fact, but still thanks to Cersei things were still good for the mostly white wolf. He had always dreamed of being the head warrior of Glorall, being Cersei’s protector and friend, well he had achieved his first goal and more. He and Cersei? Well they were mates now. Yes, the princess of Glorall was now his mate. His childhood friend now his partner. A smile split his maw, he was still working on the whole, living together thing. Expanding his den took a lot of work, though in all honestly they didn’t need it. But perhaps that was a discussion for another time. It was sort of strange adjusting his own personal life to include Cersei’s after living alone for so long, but admittedly it was a nice change.
To be honest as Sinclair moved about the pack lands the last thing that really was on his mind was his missing family. He had come to terms that perhaps he would never see any of his close family ever again. Isola happily welcomed him and he got along with many of his cousins as well as his uncle Azrael who, apparently, didn’t like anyone. So he wasn’t completely lost to the Angels. Really what more was set on his mind was the challenge between Cersei’s father and some stranger. What would happen if Tesseract lost? Would Sinclair be forced to leave his home? Would Cersei not want to stay? He would follow her anywhere she wanted to go so if she left he would follow. For now, the borders still had to be patrolled, even in Tesseract’s absence. Sure that Rogue-woman was supposed to be doing that too but apparently her kids were a handful.
He made it to the border and began his patrol, moving along on his black toed paws until a scent found his nose. It was, honestly, completely unfamiliar to him. He moved towards his tail held at mid staff to show his rank in the pack. He wasn’t about to let someone come and trespass while Tesseract was fighting for the lands, but what his violet and crimson eyes found was not someone unfamiliar. He stopped several feet away staring at the silvery and white figure, very different from the gangly half grown brother but completely unmistakable.
”Hiram?” Sin knew all too well who it was but still he couldn’t stop the questioning tone from escaping. His eyes grew wide as it fully began to sink in a broad grin splitting his maw before quickly closing the gap between them embracing the slightly taller male in a wolfish hug. He stepped back still grinning unable to believe his eyes.
”Bro! Where have you been!? Where’s Mater?” he had always thought that they had gone together, but now that he was here and she wasn’t. What did that mean? He watched him expantantly, black tipped tail waving about behind him waiting for his answer.
