Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

when everything's made to be broken...

I listened attentively as she explained her thanks. Not that I had asked for an elaboration, but I still felt content after she had done so. My nearly dropped at the thought of her laughter being stifled for so long, I can't even imagine how she had really felt once her true laughter had been released. Was it like dropping the whole mountain side off of her shoulders? She smelled as if she's been here a while, surely she acknowledges enough members roaming these lands. Are they not enough to make her laugh?

How dare I even think of that, assuming so much of what I know nothing about. Anything could be bothering her, tying her down, but that is none of my concern... No matter how caring I am...
The matter of the fact is that the two of us just met. To her, I'm a new found companion, and she's no different to me. I should feel satisfied that she shared this information with me, not sit here and question it carelessly. Yet, truth is, no one should go so long without real laughter. That's too much damage dealt.
These thoughts are too irrelevant, which is more reason for me to keep them to myself.

Once she spoke, giving her name in return. I altered, and assembled my thoughts and focused more on the now. Her name is unique, for sure, it's definitely nothing I've heard before. Ember coals danced brightly her way, as a smile found it's rightful place on my muzzle. My dial dipped a slight moment as a respectful nod. Knowing her name put me at better ease, fortifying our friendship. These passed moments meant something, and for that I'm gratified to have something so little mean so much.

My eyes fluttered, and my heart spiked immensely when she asked the simple question. I dithered a moment before responding. "Yes, I am new. I stumbled across these lands in search of a new home, for my last has..." I'm not quite sure how to word it. Stolen? No, destroyed by the immoral mentality of that bastard who stole my father's life.
"Well it fell apart, really," I mumbled, my thoughts still lost. The subject isn't uncomfortable, I don't mind speaking of my past honestly. If it means conversation, then I don't mind sharing. Still, though, the thought of losing my home was touchy.

"And you? I sense that you've been apart of Moladion a while. Are you a member of a pack, or just a lone wolf as I?"

I just want you to know who I am.
