News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

fourteen - no heart - Heyel's soul - Spirane
sister of warlow, dam of sven *adopted*

this is her in blackouts

It is sad but true that one must simply accept another's demeanor for change isn't a common occurrence. From the youth a person will grow into themselves with a set of ideals that might shift minutely but overall can remain unchanged. Sometimes life is a bit tougher for others or a bit sweeter so each is different. Each is defined by the things around them as much as how they are born. Raven was born with patience and it has helped her cope with a feeling of slight abandonment - this is all how Natu would perceive her if she did know the truth of the matter. Alas she does not, instead all she sees is a really lonely young girl with the need to learn what acceptance is, the need to see a world that isn't quite so bleak as the one she comes from. Spirane has that sort of effect. It is both freeing and uplifting for the beauty etched into the craggy mountainsides resembles, much to Natu's belief, one's heart and soul. There will never be a life that is smooth or perfect. Not if there is to be any joy within it.

Raven's face is almost impassive as she waits for Natu to make the next move. She is not sure whether the girl is playing some sort of trick or if she really is as innocent as she seems, but considering Natu is on her way to becoming Spider of Spirane she might manage to weasel some information about Iromar from the girl even as Raven plans to do the same. A mutually beneficial exchange albeit a secretive one kept to themselves.

She cannot help it when Raven steps across the border, her posture so very submissive and voice soft, but smile at the girl. Does she wonder if Natu is playing some trick on her even as she wonders teh same about this female? Such a pair they would make, both in the same line of business, both thinking the same things. Natu lets her tail swish a moment more to further add to her friendly posture; it wouldn't do for a guest of Spirane to say she was fearful of her time amongst the mountain wolves.

While Raven freezes and looks around her, Natu's icy blue eyes are combing across the slender figure of the Iromar girl and taking in each expression on her face. Finally Raven looks to her and begins asking questions. It is the curiosity of youth that makes Natu feel a pleasure in her presence. Sven was not one to question about many things. He preferred to learn things on his own or in a quiet manner. She had missed this, she realizes, this endless desire to 'know' that children often have and the feeling of elation for answering such inquisitive minds. To be the one that another looks to for solutions.

"You are smelling the scent of the old leader. Spirane went through much upheaval after her death by Purge and at times even I though it had been abandoned. Daenery's is our alpha now, the daughter of Moonglow, our old leader. Yet still you can smell the scent of Moonglow as well as Purge for Daenery's has not been alpha over long." At the very last question Natu looks pensive. Raven would know only the rule of Andras, she thinks, and no doubt he was as vicious as his Queen so how should she explain this to the girl? "It is no different than that of a male. I would venture to say it is a bit more relaxed than where you are from. An Alpha is supposed to be there to help guide and protect you and to help the pack move in a direction that benefits all."

And before she can catch a breath the girl is at it again. Natu finds herself grinning when Raven realizes she has not introduced herself. It is still surprising to know that not all Iromar wolves are full of such violence and if Raven was any indication then Natu had been very off base to begin with. "It is quite alright. The mountains have a way of drawing you in, Raven. My den is up the side of the mountain so yes I travel there a lot. And it is not too steep really for after a time the body becomes accustomed to it. I imagine traveling through the marshes can be taxing for to stay dry there are many winding paths are there not? Or sludging through the water, it is almost the same as climbing I'd think. Without that alligators here." She chuckles now.

"Would you care to walk up the mountains with me? There is a trail that I can show you where you can see the whole of Moladion, and you can tell me more of what you wish to see and a little of Iromar. I confess I do not know much about the marsh lands." Not much, but some, and it would be good to hear even more.
