Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Artemus roamed through Glorall quitely, his tail swayed softly as he looked around. the sun shined brightly, making shadows appear almost everywhere, his own shadow accompanying him. He stopped beside the lake and took a drink happily, he then looked up to the sun, it was a most beautiful day today. He remembered the old tale of when the world was born, the tale of an ancient god. His mother spoke of it often. He sniffed the floor softly, and looked up, he was on the borders of somebody else's territory. He swayed his tail and stepped back a little, he then sat down, the pack might have already smelt him, and if so, it would be rude to walk away. So, for now, he would stay, and be greeted by this strange new pack. He looked around, and saw a young deer foraging. Artemus quickly looked down to his stomach, it didn't seem to be howling, so he was fine, the deer would live, and he could settle without food for the time being. He stood up and stretched himself out, then walked over to the deer, he knew there were wolves here, and if he scared it off, then the deer would live a little longer. He walked up to it, and gave a loud growl, and soon, the deer quickly ran off. He bowed as it did, then went back to the borders of the territory. Artemus laid himself down, relaxing himself as he waited to be greeted by the pack wolves.
