Announcements as of July 28, 2021

I have called you, and you have answered my call --

Do not mistake my silence for weakness, my forest kin. For I am willing to defend you with my fangs and claws, until the days come when am no longer able to. Keep an eye on the borders for Zelda and her sister Midna, because I will welcome them back into the flock on the day of their return.

The flood has left our forest home in a sorry state of disarray. I shall not tolerate this. Summer is here and we must rebuild our dens in time for winter. There is a lot of hard and dirty work ahead of us. But we shall face it together, as family, as a pack. Let's get back to work and then we shall hunt. I hunger for a feast.

From your new Alpha --

Moonshade, the Gravekeeper of Moladion

SCREAM FOR ME Solaris/Sen

Siren
Siren
Four years | No Love | Tortures Roamin | Iromar Demon
I will be heard

I continue to lash into her throat, I continue past the laughter, past her words. They mattered not. They will never matter. I am not her. I will never be her. Ruby wants her blood, and she has no Ruby. Her and Ruby are alike, maybe, but not I. I am driven by Ruby to make her bleed all over Iromar, and bleed she does, until she is on the ground, nothing but a pile of wolf. A wolf that I tear out with my teeth. Rip after rip. I tear at her neck, and I ensure that her blood is spread across the ground, flinging bits of her in the air in my drive to make sure she died with no mercy, no compassion, as one so cruel as to put Roamin in pain deserves no less. I feel my heart beating so quickly, and yet it is colder than it ever has been. I am stuck in this place, stuck in this world without his warmth of soul, for eternity it seems, despite the fact that I just stole Lillith soul for myself. Her soul is mine, trapped forever in misery, and I will get Roamin back.

I stop my jaws from digging into her, my yellow eyes drifting from the dead woman to Roamin. My heart swells up. My body begins to shake, my fur coated in Lillith's blood but I hardly knew, hardly even realized, as all I could see was his dead form on the ground. I whine, a whine most pitiful, my trembling legs barely carrying me to him. I collapse on him.

"No, Roamin, No, come back, please, please come back, please don't leave me, please..." I beg, my voice desperate as it cracks. I swallow back my own tears, my yellow eyes gazing down at his face. My muzzle reaches in, my face rubbing against his, my eyes closing as I start to feel his body grow colder, and my very being grow colder with it. I weep for him, silently, pressed against him. I will bring him back. I have to. I cannot stay here forever. I have to bring him back. My labored breathing holds as I gently lick his face, resolve of some sort coming to my mind. Solaris.

I must go to Solaris. Solaris must know what to do. He was so kind to me, and so kind to Roamin. He has to know how to bring him back. Roamin's father, he was a healer, he knew herbs and such. He was in Taviora too. Solaris would know him. Solaris had to help. The thought of my dead mother didn't even come to my mind as something to be concerned about. She was nothing. She did not matter. I needed Roamin back, and that is what I was doing.

"I will make you better, yes, my treasure, Obsidian and Ruby will bring you back, and everything will be fine. We will be fine, and we will play...yes, yes! We will play again, you and me, I will get you help. I am sorry, it may hurt, I have to...drag you, but you will okay, I will bring you back," I whisper in his ear sweetly, though my voice trembles like a tree being struck by lightning. I nuzzle his face with my own blood-covered muzzle, his own blood mixing with my mothers upon me, before I lift my form, my teeth grabbing his scruff. I bite down, dragging him through Iromar as quickly as I could.

It was a long a difficult journey from Iromar to Taviora. He was a little bigger than myself, but he was younger than me. I managed to drag him all the way to Iromar. It left blood. It left bits of him behind, but...but I cannot get them all, not yet, but I will. I will go back for each piece of fur, every drop of blood. I just had to get him to Taviora. My jaws hurt. I felt like my teeth were going to fall out, but it didn't matter. All the pain in the world did not match up to him being dead. I will take it all to have him smile at me again. That is how I got him there, after many hours. I go to Taviora.

I shake even more now. My muscles are weary. I feel weaker than ever. I breath heavily, letting Roamin drop to the ground gently at the edge of Taviora. I lower my muzzle to him, my voice still desperate as I speak to him again, "You see, Roamin? You see? I got us here. We are here and I will get your help, and you will all better, yes, all better, just, we just have to get them to come, and they will come and they will help you." I help an awkward smile on my face, as if I am comforting him in these moments, letting him know I will take care of him. I gulp, my throat whispering for water. I can't right now though. I have to get help. I raise my muzzle, a howlish noise coming from me, but it is littered with the facets of a scream of desperation, calling out to Solaris, to the healer. I needed them, and I wasn't going to wait. I made my call, hoarse and bright, smothered in desperation. I grabbed Roamin's scruff again, dragging him into Taviora, ignoring borders as there is no time to wait. I would not stop until I see someone. My form, drenched in blood, had no time to waste. Roamin still had to be in there, he had to, and he just needed to be healed, right?

THE FOREST RANKS

THE GRAVEKEEPER

The Alpha Male of Taviora. He will accept all challenges and block any steals. He has taken an oath to protect all within the forest, alive and dead.

THE KEEPER OF SECRETS

This will be Moonshade's chosen co-alpha. They will also be able to accept challanges and steals in order to defend Taviora.

THE KEEPER OF TRUTHS

This rank will belong to the chosen heir of Taviora. This wolf will probably share Moonshade's blood. This rank can be challenged for if you believe that you are a better candidate for the job.

THE FOREST COUNCIL

Although the Alpha's have the final say in all matters, Taviora is still a pack, we are still a community. These wolves are the most senior members of our ranks. Their role is to guide, serve and protect. All of them have earned their place here and they should be respected at all times. Every position on the council can be challanged for by a subordinate pack member. However the council has the right to block a pack member from gaining the position if they have concluded that the individual has placed their own selfish desires before the best interest of the pack as a whole.

THE TUSKS

The packs lead fighter. One of the strongest and bravest in our ranks. They will answer the call to protect the forest if either of the Alpha's are absent.

THE JAWS

The packs head of defence. They are our chief hunter and guardian to all within the forest borders. They know every inch of Taviora and every wolf within.

THE HORNS

The packs most senior teacher. They are responsible for teaching and guiding all of our young and new members so that they will reach their full potential.

THE EYES

The packs trusted informant. This wolf spends a lot of their time outside the forest borders, keeping their eyes, ears and nose peeled for news or potential trouble. Due to the secretive and dangerous nature of this rank, only a wolf that the pack can trust with their lives will obtain this responsibility.

THE DARKDWELLER

This is Taviora’s Head Healer. This wolf is responsible for treating the pack's wounds, injuries and illnesses. They are also expected to be one of the first on scene when a mother goes into labour. Along with their counterpart, The Soothsayer, they will train future healers for the service of our pack and our allies.

THE SOOTHSAYER

This is Taviora’s Head Counselor. Their knowledge of healing and herbal remedies are equal to that of their counterpart, The Darkdweller. This wolf specializes in helping us conquer the unseen demons in our heads and our hearts. They are also expected to help bring all children of the forest safely into this world.

NIGHTWATCHERS

Our trusted packmates that guard the borders while the rest of us sleep safely in our dens. If something is amiss within our lands, they should be the first to intercept any threat and call for back up when needed. Some might not call themselves soldiers, but they will spill blood if push comes to shove.

DAWNSTRIDERS

The most diligent and selfless of our pack. They are up at first light and leave our inner sanctum every few days in search of prey. They hunt far and wide in order to make sure none of us go hungry. While not out hunting, they are free to relax or assist the Nightwatchers, Daylightres or Dawnstriders with their tasks.

DAYLIGHTERS

This group will make up the bulk of our pack, they are our beloved family. They are generalists and commoners who are charged with looking after the most central and sacred parts of our home. Along with The Horns, they are expected to watch out for our children. We are happy to keep all within our ranks that love and respect the forest of Taviora.

DUSKWALKERS

Rumoured to be the most free spirited and independent members of our pack, they guard when no other eyes are available. They wander down all the winding dirt paths and have been known to explore into the freelands. They are envoys and ambassadors who assist The Eyes with their duty of keeping us all safe.

ANCIENT PINES

These wolves are older and have retired from active service. We thank them for all that they have done for our pack, however long or short their tenor was. They shall live out the rest of their years with the best food, shelter and company we can offer them.

THE BRIAR PATCH

This is the name for Taviora’s nursing mothers and their litters of puppies. Once they are born, at least one parent is expected to temporarily step down from their role in order to raise their pups for the first 6 months of their lives. An exemption can be made if another mother is willing to look after the young while the parents resume their service to the pack.

THE SAPLINGS

Too big for the briar patch but not yet old enough to be called a daylighter. These are all puppies between the age of 1 and 3. Pups can start their training from 2 and above if The Horns has found a suitable Mentor for them.

THE WELCOMED

These wolves are welcome within our borders anytime of the day or night. Blocking their access will be met with disapproval and possible punishment.

THE BANISHED

They are enemies of our pack and their presence will not be tolerated within or near our home. Those caught in contact with a wolf on this list will likely share the same fate.

THE SACRED TOMBS

Our brothers and sisters that have sadly left us for their next adventures. We give thanks for their lives and we send them on with all our love, hopes and dreams. Moonshade will accept the bones of any wolf that has ever called Taviora their home and will find them a special place within our hallowed grounds. Every burial mound is individual and sacred. Tampering or messing with one will not be tolerated. A crime against the dead will be treated as though it has been committed against a living pack member.

Remember, we are always watching from the shadows ...
