Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

fourteen - no heart - Heyel's soul - Spirane
sister of warlow, dam of sven *adopted*

this is her in blackouts

It is often that Natu finds herself stealing away from the mountain peaks that she loves so much. Now that she had officially been promoted to Spider of Spirane - and quite glad she was of it - she took even more to the wilds to keep her ear to the ground. It was often in the most casual of meetings that one could find out basic or even secretive information. The freelands were so traversed by many that it was easy to make oneself scarce. Easy to happen upon a group of wolves in deep discussion or even just enjoying the day. Easy to catch secrets in her web. Just because she had earned her way to where she was didn't mean she could stop in her work. The world moved constantly and so did new changes in the wind. It was up to Natu to spy such changes as quickly as she could to report to her Queen.

She has been among the crags all morning sniffing out clever mice for snacks. They were quick but her reflexes were well honed. When one attempted to dart from one rock to the next her maw would snap down and crush the critter before it knew what was happening. Tiring of her effort and with her belly muted by the few mice she had captured Natu sprawled out on a rock with a sigh of contentment. Her eyes closed to the summer sun and she let time drift away until she slowly became aware of a new scent on the wind. Sleekwing.

Ice blue eyes open up and a smile graces her maw. It had been some time since she had seen him, since his presence had calmed the storm inside of her and caused her heart to race for a very different reason. Would it be wrong to seek him out now with her own uncertainty with Fenrir? Shaking away such thoughts as counter-productive she stirs, lifting her body up and trailing the wind in the direction his scent was coming from. A spy had to be good at tracking and Natu had the skills of a honed hunter.

The sound of rippling water echos against the rocky walls as she nears the spot where Sleekwing sits in his own sunbathing. "Tired of the mountains? I have not seen you in a while, Sleekwing." Her voice drifts over the water with a lazy candor as she moves towards him and places herself next to him with a friendly smile. "You must have been very busy in your work. I hear there are many flocking to you for training, my own son included." Sven, of course, was not her son but blood but she had coined the term since he had chosen to stay with her. He knew she called him that though he did not call her mother, but she had raised him and in a way it fit. "He is very excited and nervous to prove himself." There is a tone of fondness in her voice and a happiness in her eyes that was not there upon their last meeting.
