aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

wolf

The black femme was waiting patiently for her alpha to come to her call, but she was in no rush. She had nothing else to do with her day so she didn’t mind waiting for him if he was busy and needed to take his time getting to her. She sat down in the small clearing she had gone to, plume wrapping gracefully around her now filled out and muscular form. Chenzii wondered how Kal had been lately and what he had been up to and if he knew anything about Moth’s absence. It was bizarre that she would be gone for so long when she had once been so dedicated to her pack, at least that’s how it had seemed from Chenzii’s point of view. She could only hope that everything was okay with the Alphess of their allied pack. The fae had been absent from Aurora for a few weeks, between visiting SawTooth and fighting off the depression that still threatened to take over. It seemed that her own pack was as quiet as SawTooth had been when she travelled to visit. She had not met anyone when she wandered the border, but she made sure never to cross into the other pack even though they were allies.

Chenzii did not have to wait long to see the familiar silver pelt of Kalgalath coming through the trees. She smiled and wagged her plume at his approach, standing to greet him. He rubbed his pelt against her briefly and she returned the touch, leaning into his solid form. He spoke as he sat down beside her, “Chenzii, welcome back. You are looking well.” When Kal sat down she sat again, wrapping her tail around her paws once more before she spoke. “Thank you Kal, it’s good to see you. So I went to SawTooth as you requested and did not see Moth, or anyone for that matter. I walked the borders of their pack for some time, but didn’t see or smell anyone, and Moth’s scent was stale on the borders. It was very quiet but it did not seem like they were in any danger there. I never crossed into their lands so Moth may have been somewhere else inside, but I never saw her. I’m sorry Kal.” She knew that she didn’t do anything wrong, there was nothing she could do about Moth’s absence, but she still was afraid of letting the brute down. She didn’t want him to feel like she had failed him.

The femme paused her speech, waiting to see if Kal ahd anything to say before continuing. ”But how have things been around here? How are you Kal? I’m sorry I was gone for so long. I promise I will not leave you or the pack again like that. I’m better now.” Her yellow orbs looked over to him for a moment, nervous. She did not think that he would be upset about her absence, he seemed to understand why she needed the time alone, but if he was upset she could not blame her. Anything could have happened while she was gone and she was not there to help or protect the pack and that was not acceptable. She had pledged herself to the pack and to Kal and she should not have selfishly left them just because she was depressed. Chenziii knew that she would never let it happen again.

OOC: sorry it’s short and crappy ><
