Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Nord
take these broken wings and learn to fly
Nord was perfectly content by himself. After all, he was a firm believer that spending time with yourself meant that you were in the best of company. And so he was quite happy with only his thoughts and the gentle sound of water, but it seemed the serenity wouldn't last for long. The voice jolted him out of his peaceful state, his ears flicking backwards to catch the angry inquiry. Nord recognized the voice immediately, after all, the one from which it came from was quite unforgettable. "What do you mean?" he squeaked, still a bit shaken from her sudden entrance. His question was answered soon enough, however, and the wolf sighed quietly.

"Thanks for the advice." Nord said. "I'll, um, keep that in mind in the future." He straightened up a bit as Celeste settled down next to him, his pelt dripping water. His ocean blue eyes glanced at her for a moment before looking away again. Even though his stutter was gone for the most part, he still struggled with making eye contact and things like that. And for some reason it was even harder to do those things with Celeste. He had some sort of idea why that was, but there was no way that he would ever admit to it. Nope, not ever.

He gave a small nod at her complaint, a smile tugging at his lips. "I was thinking the same thing. At least the water is nice and cool." he agreed, looking out over the lake. His voice was a lot more confident, and perhaps he spoke a bit slower and more enunciated, but his speech was getting a lot better. Especially since the stutter had gone, soon enough he would be able to speak without focusing on it so much. Just when he got excited, sometimes he tended to get ahead of himself.

"It's nice to see you again." Nord said a bit shyly, casting a glance in her direction before glancing back down at the water. Maybe a little awkward, but talking to people was hard! He still didn't understand some of the finer points of social interaction. But it was nice to see her again. After all, it was mostly because of her that he had even attempted to fix his stutter.
