Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

Renegade
seven - loner - bound & loved by none

Compared to most things in his life, the fact that Renegade swung towards males rather than females was really the least strange thing about him. Admittedly, those who knew or suspected hadn't said anything out of fear. He didn't really have that kind of influence in this new lands, which was somewhat disappointing, but after the death of his partner he had been reluctant to try and gain it back. It just felt wrong somehow. Though he would never find a replacement, Renegade was confident that he could move on in a way, he knew that his partner would want it that way anyway. He would probably just laugh at the idea of the tri-colored wolf in mourning.

It wasn't that he even cared much about what other wolves had thought of him personally, as long as he was feared and respected. He had never been told how to live and would have simply done the opposite of any advice given to him. Perhaps that was the epitome of a brat, but Renegade had never been the most obedient of children. Or adults. He just really hadn't been obedient to anyone at any point of his life, really.

Renegade gave a small chuckle as Istas expressed his disbelief. "I understand. Not like anyone really talks about it." he said with a small nod. Of course rumors had gone around about other wolves but he hadn't even known anyone else like him and his partner. He thought maybe Rogue, she had smelled strongly of another female, but he didn't like her much at all. He tried not to think about her, because in reality it just made him angry. Renegade respected her in a weird sort of way, but she was still a bitch, and if he ever saw her again he would definitely let her know. Maybe. She was actually a lot bigger than him and it would be stupid to pick a fight, but he could still imagine it, right?

He was getting sidetracked though, and he was ripped from his thoughts as Istas spoke again, and he tilted his head slightly. "I can't show ya how t' feel, Istas." Renegade said, slightly confused. "That's up t' you. But I can help ya in findin' that feeling, if ya want." he said with a small smirk, his own body moving forward slightly to further close the gap between them. "Sometimes it ain't too hard to fall in love." he said once he was closer, his crimson eyes glinting, the smirk still upon his face. This was certainly an... interesting meeting.

oh, bless me Lord for I have sinned
it's been a lifetime since I last confessed
i threw my crutches in "The river of a shadow of doubt"
and I'll be dressed up in my Sunday best
