Something is on his mind, I can feel it. It isn't an off kind of thing, doesn't seem bad... But I can feel that he is thinking farther more than he is saying. I smile gently as he drops the rose and begins to stutter sheepishly. I found it rather cute, especially for someone his age. Also, I adore that he doesn't exactly act his age, in a mature way of course.
I sat though, intent on hearing of his daughter. He spoke of her as if she were all he has.... Oh... She is.
The burn in my eyes softened as they fall, hearing those words, the loss of his mate... He just seems too kind to have something so harsh happen to him. I know for sure that if I were... Well... Hard heart or not, I couldn't live with hurting another so deeply, especially one who is so kind to have such patience with me...
Of all wolves, he chose to sit here with me... When he could've just taken the rose, and left to his daughter... Ska, the wolfess a year older than I. Sweet, he says that she is... I wonder how she would feel about.... Never mind...
The flame in my eyes burn bright once again as I learn his name, and hear his offer. Pure excitement caused my legs to tremble. A day with him, well... That would just make my day!
"I am Estelle... And I'd love for you to show me around."
Eyes flutter coyly, as my tail begins to wag, and I clumsily stand to my paws... Oops. I swiftly miss the rose, careful not to step on the precious peddles, and then tumble into Voltaire.
"I'm so sorry... I guess I just... I'm sorry..."
