Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

fourteen - no heart - Heyel's soul - Spider of Spirane
sister of warlow, dam of sven *adopted*

this is her in blackouts

In this moment of bated breath all she feels is trepidation. Would he turn upon her with fury for her dismissal? He had not seemed angry at her before yet some times these things fester into a greater burn than they were originally. She had simply needed time to think, to weigh things in both her heart and mind. Could she stand to put her heart in his paws after being so thoroughly ripped apart once before? After watching both children, mate, and legacy die in a mind boggling cycle? She had roamed this earth for many many years alone, bereft, lost. Warlow had followed her in those years, a savage brother, the kind that knew only of their familial bond but did not care to elaborate more than making sure Natu did not perish. There was no real love lost between them. In fact if one looked at Natu in a certain slant of light they could see a scar that cuts from the top of her lip down to the bottom lip, a remnant of her trying to play nice with him. That was before he met his own heart and soul, before Mistletoe and his own children, and she loved those children with all her fiber though she had not seen them as of late. Or her brother or her sister-in-law.

Yet she did not feel quite so alone anymore. Sven had stayed and placed his faith with her. A healing, tentative bond had sprung up between them and on top of that she had found something else worth fighting for: Fen. For after he had left that night and she had curled in her den with memories of their time seared into her head all she could think of was his scent surrounding her, the press of his warm body against hers, and she had felt a such burn once more. Both a burn of the heart and the body, a desire to be one and apart of another. It had shocked her the way it had snuck up on her and the way she had missed him these few days, a test to see whether such things would fade without the whisper of his words and declaration of his noble intentions.

What female did not wish to hear the very words he had spouted? Offering to be, quite literally, her Knight. From the very beginning he had protected her from the vile words that spewed from Ifrit's maw and perhaps in that very moment is when Fenrir took her total attention. Maybe that was the reason why when she had been with them, even during hunting, her whole body had been attuned to his movements. She could track him without a bond for her body responded to his in a primal way.

Fen turns to her now, ears first then head, and she cannot help the elated smile at his words. No, he was not angry at her, and seeing the look in his eyes only seemed to release that tension even more as her tail wagged. She feels so different with him. Lighter, free. Not quite so reserved as she is with other wolves. It has been so long since she has felt this way. "Thank you," she murmurs before pausing in her movements in surprise. She had known of his visit. She had even stolen a glance from afar but refrained from going down for there were some things that had to be done alone. Besides, she hadn't found herself quite yet and had needed the time to continue her inner search.

"On the contrary, I thought it quite... bold of you, and brave. It cannot have been easy to face your son once more and yet you did so anyways. I am proud of you." She whispers the last words as suddenly she steps forward and wraps her neck around his, chest to chest, her heart thrumming and legs trembling finely for his was a moment of intensity. "I don't need you to chase anything away for me, Fenrir, because you have already done that. You have chased the darkness from my heart and I think..." Her voice falls quiet for a moment. "I think this is me calling on you if you are still willing."
