The summer heat was unbearable at times, with such a thick dense black coat, it was intensified, the hints of gold and silver-white didn’t really help much, as they weren’t prominent enough to be a barrier against the heat. Ten years in this forsaken place with only one that he had known, albeit for a very short time, there was still something lingering. After all she was his imprint, but he hadn’t seen her in years. Figures right? He would be so lucky to find one but then again, she was gone just like that. Not that he had been super active in the lands lately, which I guess led to the fact that he had hid for a long time, and well, it seemed in that time that she had taken to herself to leave.
He found himself still alone after all of those years, and maybe it was his own fault really. He just was not the kind of wolf to really open himself up to another when he had no prior experience with the whole being friendly thing. His dark blue, near black eyes glanced around the grotto lazily, not seeing anyone nearby, nor smelling them either. He wandered slowly. His thick muscled frame moved with ease around the rocks. Agile yet heavy enough that his paws left slight imprints in the soft wet soil in the darkness of the caves.
-crap sorry-
