Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Things had taken an oddly great turn for her, never had the young healer thought someone she lost would come back, much less that she would make a mate out of the one wolf she had always known to be there. Hell, she never thought anyone would stay around long enough to fall in live with her, especially since even her mother hadn't wanted her. It had been difficult to come to know social pack life, and though she never knew any of the new wolves, she figured she should start now. Moving out of the thicket den makes for herself and Mortz and the new pups after winter, Riopat dances her way across the now visible sand bar into the mainland of Glorall.

The sands shift beneath her paws as she moves with a grace only a few finely built females could pull off with practice, once she reaches the dune grasses, her gait changes from trot to lope as she seeks out any pack member who wishes to learn about her trade. She seeks to educate her pack mates about the medicine she uses, what alleviates what as far as illnesses, pains, and both minor and major wounds. Those who wish to learn this art and become Ordines, she wishes to see into the art personally. The Ordines may wish to move up and become Triarii, and for this, Riopat must discuss with Tesseract who best to teach them whilst she is occupied with the newly made healers. It is her wish to see Glorall famed as well as Tesseract's, and if it must be for healing, so be it. Glorall wolves are strong, used to shifting sands beneath their paws, think of what they could do with solid ground? Mortz can fight, she knows, his side wound had told her all she needed to know about his strength, inside and out. A smile breaks across her face before she lets out an invitational howl for all the wolves who wished to be a healer or who wanted to advance in their roles. She also invites any and all who wished to simply learn how she does what she does.
