This is your life and it's ending one minute at a time

The stallion was friendly, the playful bob of his head putting her at ease. Xina would be angry at her daughter for how easily she trusted but unlike Xina, Mera had never had her trust broken and so she was still innocent and naive to the crueler parts of the world. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Kasabian" she said, her more brighter nature showing now that she wasn't so shy. Head raising to look at him more fully, Mera let her small smile grow into a more full and happy one. She wasn't alone anymore and she would make the best of it.

"The wind I suppose." She replied, only having followed its direction since the loss of her family. She takes a moment to pry her eyes from him and give a glance around. So this was the Ridge. The name was fitting for all the rocks and ledges it had to offer. It was nothing like the Shore where she was born or Paradise where she was raised. Both was made of mostly sand and although this place had that, it was also a lot more rugged and tougher.

"This is nothing like where I've ever been before" she admits as Mera lets her gaze fall back onto the stallion. "I like your home, Kasabian. Its refreshing."
