Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

A low chuckle leaves my lips from deep within my chest like the rumble of a summer storm if I could read his thoughts I would have laughed harder, I had no real claim to Glorall being that Weylin was my foster father but I also would never want to disrupt the delicate balance of Glorall, if the inkling ever came to me again I'd probably go for a land else where, and not before we'd left our Glorall positions without someone capable to continue on without us. "So long as there is breath in my lungs sir, Riopat will come to no harm" because I know that this time around things would be different.

A seriousness in the air from Tess makes me nod my head with steely reserve I will not let him or Rio down in this regard. "I would be more than happy to do so," I think about the plans that we had made up for the winter... well more the demands of Riopat upon his return last night, " I will stay with the princess for the winter to make sure that she is safe and learns what she needs, but I have one request for you as well sir" I nod my head as if to reaffirm my thoughts.

"I wish to have an official mateship with Riopat before winter, before I leave for Diveen" I know that neither of us has our true parents here with us because we are both orphans, but I also know that Rio speaks highly of Tess as if he was like a father. "But also I would be honored if you would be the one escort Riopat during the ceremonies... neither of us has any family left but those we have come to care for here in Glorall. Perhaps if you could lead the ceremonies to..." I smile sheepishly because I know I am asking a lot of my alpha.

"this is how he speaks"
