Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Where the hell did that boy go?

Amutaq thought it would be nice, be fun to take one of his sons out to the free lands today. Father-son bonding and all it was always a good time. Last spring he had been given two more sons, all thanks to him of course, though again it seems as though Zeteri’s horrible genetics had to afflict the younger one of the two. Their first litter both pups had been born without really learning to speak properly. His only daughter was born a mute and at her birth didn’t even cry, his oldest son unable to hear though it took Zeteri a fair bit longer to discover that ordeal. Raising them had been a chore and a learning curb for both of them. It wasn’t aided by the fact that the family had a rift in it, one that only became repaired the previous fall.

Well their conception hadn’t been on purpose… and Amutaq was far from wanting to be their father. He did it regardless, his life threatened if he didn’t do it otherwise, and unable to deny the markings upon them he really didn’t have a choice but to admit they were his. Needless to say he and Zeteri were… rocky at best. He would visit to baby sit essentially then leave when she was done doing whatever she did for the day until one day she vanished. He raised them alone then in the free lands getting to know how to provide for them and care for them. They were smart kids and soon he found their disabilities quite workable learning what to do and not to do. Then Zeteri came back angry but they settled their differences and now here they were a happy family of six.

Still though there were some… hiccups to say the least and this was proving to be one of them. Jinan was missing, and deaf, meaning as the tall black brute looked for him it was pointless to call out. He rubbed his scent thickly along trees keeping to a small area certain the child couldn’t have gotten too far. Jinan would have to find him, prove to him that he was a decent tracker like himself and his mother. He hadn’t lost a kid yet and Amutaq was certain the chocolate boy would turn up sooner or later it was just a father’s worry that caused him to panic more than he needed too. His mother was occupying Luk today and like hellllll was he going to loose Jinan after insisting on taking him out for a few hunting lessons. He taught Yoska! He assured her. Let him teach Jinan too! Well Yoska didn’t have as large of a will to wander off it seemed. So as the brute looked around for his son he hardly cared who else he got close too.

He was startled then when he heard the voice telling him to come out jumping up like a scared rabbit so focused upon finding his boy that he didn’t even notice the brindled brute he was near. ”EH!? Who!? What!? Where!? I ain't hidin'!!” he swung around until his green-gold eyes landed on younger boy, ”Oh just a loner. You seen a kid, yay-high, pretty handsome if I do say so myself looks a bit like me in the face got these really bright eyes, jeeze. Gonna be a lady killer that one.” He said giving a few proud nods before snapping back into it.

Seen anyone like that around?”
