Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

I fell in love with a shooting star

The chill of the water did not disturb him, as much as it probably should. He could feel the clinging liquid upon each strand, how feels so different from the thin air that surrounds him. He notices that she was distracted, that she did not initially notice him as he did not initially notice her. Minds were always working things, ticking away like clocks, never ceasing like time itself. He knew the feeling, he felt trapped in conflicts of the mind much of the time.

He lends an ear though, a dark ear dipped in the milky way itself. He knew of his own troubles, but what of others? Other lives were so different, and from the gold of her pelt, it was apparent they likely experienced completely different lives. He did wonder what troubled her as she spoke, how her eyes reflect the inner turmoil. She speaks of a complicated life, of heats and souls, and he can only give to nod slightly at her words with his star-touched visage. The wind gave way, whispering in his ear and he too felt the give of a shiver. He appears to be perhaps not...sane, with his appreciation for the water on an evening chilled, and she does not hesitate to point it out. He looked down at his chest where his fur floated in the water, smirking slightly as he does move out of the water. It clings to him desperately, and he does take many steps away for a moment. He shakes off the remaining water, flinging it into the air but hopefully far enough away not to get the lady wet. He turned his head, inhaling the air pleasantly.

"Sometimes, one must appreciate the cold in order to enjoy warmth again," he stated, letting his teeth show in a gentle grin. Sure, it was a statement laced with a hint of masochism, but it was a simply truth to him. At times, it was easy to curse the cold, to show it no love, and yet on days sweltering and hot, it was a much welcomed friend. Now that only minimal water slicked his fur, he dare to step closure, his eyes of flashed pink and yellow blue large, almost sparkling naturally in their mysterious hues. He tiled her head at the mention of the difficulties of life and choices.

"Ah," he said, sitting next to her on his haunches although still a comfortable distance away. He looked out onto the lake calmed, not longer disturbed by the simple energy of his bodice. He wasn't exactly a wolf with the best answer, nor a wolf experienced in either matters. He has never had anyone to share his life with in particular, not anyone who was...real anymore, as he slowly came to realize.

"Heart and soul- they are just labels, you know. They are products of language. Cor et animam. Yollotli auh ianima- toyollo," he said with a skillful grace, his first words in english, then to Latin with an easy transition in accent, then to Nahuatl from which he learned from his Alpha over time, the last word he stated he looked upon her, knowing she likely had no idea what he was saying, but it was a word that encompassed both of what they were speaking of.

"Toyollo- our heart, our chest, our soul, at times, there is no distinction. It is all...within your perception, your own limitations," he said as he continued to look upon her. It was something that made sense to him, but would it to her? Would it even impact her?

"Tell me, what is it that brings you conflict?" he asked, allowing his eyes not to press into her further, but to view the sky upon the lake once more, the reflection of sun and moon upon it, with glorious colors all about. Fall could be magnificent thing with the change of seasons, and he was indeed going to enjoy it on this day.
