Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

When the foreign scent on the border first reached the brute’s nares he did not hesitate to start heading in the direction of the stranger. Even before he had been given his rank he would greet newcomers and visitors at the borders. He felt that in order to really be a part of a pack one had to do their part, even as an Omega with no specific tasks one can still greet strangers. So it was not a new practice for him to be heading to the borders to find out why someone had to Bright Moon. As the smoky brute was approaching the stranger it suddenly hit him that he was no longer approaching as a lesser ranked wolf. He was no longer going to be calling the alpha to come and make the decision if the lupine at the border was worthy of joining the pack if that was what they desired, or if they were a threat and needed to be dealt with. Now that was his job. His stilts faltered for a moment before he continued in the direction he had been going. Nerves filled him for a moment, now that he realized what responsibility was on him. But the nerves did not last long, he had been trained on what to do in many situations so that in the hopes if he became alpha one day he would be ready. And he was, he knew he was ready. His many trainings with his siblings and his father had paid off.

And so with his banner and head held high the brute approached the lounging female, an easy, relaxed smile on his features. He greeted her, sitting down, wrapping his plume around his paws as the kalak got to her feet. A grin was plastered to her features as she stretched before the brute before answering his question. “Hello handsome. What took you so long?” He raised a questioning brow at her, confused as to why she felt like she had been left waiting. It had not taken him that long to reach her and he realized that she may be being sarcastic with him, and he wondered the best way to speak with this female. “My name…is Shae.” She spoke with a purr in her vocals and for the moment he just stared at her, wondering what it was that she wanted with his pack. The kalak approached him and then did something that surprised him, she put a paw over the border and in his surprise he did nothing for the time being, but when she crossed his borders without his permission, her plume brushing against his chin his fur bristled as she spoke again, “I have got to tell you, Hunny…” Her speech paused as she circled him and the smoky brujo stood, a warning growl escaping his lips as she turned to face him again, outside of his territory again. “…it is remarkable that none of your siblings look remarkably similar.” This, Shae, gave him a wink before getting into a more comfortable position. His siblings? What did she know of his siblings? Summer had not seen any of his siblings in a long time and worried that the worst had happened to them. How did she know them? ”First of all, do not cross my borders again, or I will not be nice anymore. And secondly, what do you know of my siblings?” His yellow orbs bore into hers, a slight harshness to his vocals that felt foreign in his throat. He was not sued to addressing people in this way, but it did not feel wrong.

After the brute got some answers from the female she spoke again, in the same seductive tones that she had been using since she first addressed him. The way she acted and spoke was not one that Summer was used to. Her flirtations would not be returned, not when he did not who she was, even though she did have an attractive form. “I have news for you, sweetling. And you likely aren’t going to like it. So what would you like to hear first from my perfect, beautiful lips that you haven’t stopped looking at? The good news… or the bad?” Summer did not know how to feel about her and her words. She was bolder than any female he had encountered before and he did not what it was she expected of him. He decided to ignore the seductive words and just answer her question instead. ”Why don’t you give me the good news, see if you can put me in a better mood first.” The brute continued standing, more formal with her now than when he had approached, the smile gone from his features. A small flicker of anxiety reached him when she said that she had bad news, but he did not know her at all, what terrible news could she possibly bring to him?
