Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Octavia is beautiful, sure, but she knows it. That, and she's a mess. There's someting unbecoming about a girl like her, and she loves it. Something rough and wild, like a creature that's just burst forth from the woods. Adventure was her dug, and there was an addiction that made her feel alive and alert and beautiful. Electric. All of the electricity that clung to her body and her heart and her soul. It was the most fantastic thing... alive. Alive, she was so incredibly alive. That was the thing. She was too damned alive to want to play the silly games that society had decided girls should play. No manners, no thought to trying to charm boys for anything other than to mess with them. Brash, confident, and entirely screwed over. Too wild to be of any political use, and that was the best part of it al.

Her adventures were just that-- hers. Octavia wouldn't dare share all the details with a single soul. It doesn't work like that, and she doesn't really like the idea of it anyway. Even if she was to find an imprint, Tav doubts she'll like him much. The idea of things that are pre-determined by fate... no. She doesn't buy into things like that. They aren't for her. If the day was to come, she'd likely have a fit. That was the way things went with the dark princess, anyway. That was the way things would always be.

They realx around each other, and it makes sense. They'd played together as children, as much playing as she'd ever done. Honestly, she'd harassed the young man with the dark mask more than her fair share, and... well, as was Octavia's style, she lacked apology. It was the way she'd always been, and it would be the way she continued to live her life. Smirking, always smirking. It shone in her eyes.

Tav laughs openly as the young man brings up a type. "Type, boys like you always have a type. I'd ask what it is, but I can assure you that she's entirely out of your league." Her tail is thrashing, wagging at her haunches, and there's a brilliance to her. Octavia likes to tease like this, and it fits the dark princess well. Full of light and mischeif, absolutely fantastic.
