Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Return to Lunar Children
it's still heavy as hell

She watched and waited; it wouldn't be long before Tesseract showed his face. Dad, after all this time, was still dad. That made sense, right? The bond between father and daughter wasn't easily broken, and they were here to prove that. They could still string together a successful relationship, at least Octavia hoped. She could always hope. Hope was one of her favorite things after all-- it kept the heart young. Youth was what she had on her side above all. Not the age of the flesh and the bones, but the age of the heart. So long as she stayed young she could live forever.

"The world isn't so big when you're taking it a step at a time." The girl's tone isn't contrary, but there's a certain edge. Edgy, brash, wild... she'd taken on all sorts of qualities while she'd been gone. It was something that Tav absolutely thrived on. That wildness, absolute energy that came from something that was hard to place. It was fantastic, and she couldn't really help that. Fantastic and beautiful and lovely all rolled into one-- Octavia was nearly shining before her father. That's what happened when there was so much damned energy in your system.

Octavia's eyes sit on the man before her, carefully studying the scars that littered her father's body. "I've had nothing and I've had everything... the first is so much more exciting, dad." The dark princess's tail thrashes, and there's a brilliance to her blue-violet eyes. "I had the most amazing time, the most fantastic adventure." She'd learned no manners, no social skills, no tact... and she'd had the time of her life. Octavia knew that her father needed princesses that were going to do a good job carrying on what the family did, that were going to work in the interest of the whole, of the pack. She knew that she couldn't be one of them. "Talk about thriving," There's a grin that splits her face, the light seeming to radiate through her eyes.

They would talk about what had gone on here, but it would come in time. For now, Octavia needed to get used to being a duaghter again.
