Soda was excited about the move, unlike the two very grumpy girls who swam alongside her. They were grumbling back and forth to each other on whether or not this new place would be just as fun as the inlet was. "There better be snow in the winter," Alethi would say every so often, most likely trying to get onto her mother's nerves and turn her to their side. Soda was having no part of their nonsense; even though she had been born and raised on Tinuvel. Soda knew that changes could bring great things, so she couldn't wait to see what was in store for her here in the Ridge.
They had waited a while before going after Grai; actually, Soda had been busy chasing down the girls which is really why they were so late arriving. She hoped Grai didn't think she wouldn't come with. Soda adored him, and the way he put up with the girls that weren't his own. She would stay by his side for as long as she could.
"Are we there yet?" Alethi groans, in which Soda only snorts at, surging ahead when a sandy shore came into view. She pulls herself out of the water and onto the sand, shaking out her coat. Soda doesn't wait for the girls as Grai's scent wafts towards her. He was near.
Raising her head the pale mare calls to him, dancing on her hooves a little with the excitement she felt.
