Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

She needed to get out and about, and today was the kind of day that was meant for adventure. The wild one moved across the ground with a lightness in her feet and in her heart-- it was only fitting. Keen eyes scanned the world around without apology. Adventure. She needed an adventure, as Glorall was already losing its shine for her. It was the way her mind worked, that thirst-- no that hunger for new and different and exciting. That was what she needed, after all. Without excitement, she had nothing. Though she was brilliant in more ways than one, Octavia was yet to hold rank home. Dad didn't understand, for there was a hunger in her soul to be a great king. There's something silly to her about gendering the highest rank. Men and women, they aren't so different, so why can they not all be kings? She's stumped, anyway.

The day was in its infancy as she made her way across the open ground. A soft frost had settled in, and the melting dew stuck to her toes with a shine. Tav liked that, the shine of it all. Shine was what she did best, after all. Shine and shine and shine on... fantastic. The lope she carried in her easy pace could have sustained the girl for hours... maybe even days. Graceful and curious and strong, even though she was brash and brilliant... it all fit her so well. The girl's eyes fixed on the horizon. She'd run to catch the darkness, though she may not be fast enough. Never quite fast enough to catch it, but she wasn't upset.

It was in her dawn treading that she foud him. Around her age, bigger, bulkier, all around more wolf-- no fear. No fear in her eyes or in her face, as there never was. Just a stranger. In her experience, it was better to leave strangers be but... fuck it. Fuck it. Octavia barked at the man, but didn't slow. A greeting, a good morning to a neighbor, and the devil-may-care lope of a girl that couldn't be caught. She was easily faster than the bulky creature, and should he want to pursue her company he'd have to ask politely... elsewise, Octavia would keep running.
