Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

Watch me fall above like a vicious dove

ISTAS

They don't see me coming, who can blame them?

Istas supposed he was happy to have a job and work. Renegade seemed excited for company all the time and while he was thinking that he rather liked the idea of Renegade joining him in Iromar he couldn’t help but be a bit selfish at the same time. A jerk move perhaps being so possessive that really he didn’t revel in the idea of Renegade getting a job and working. Istas was still insecure. Everyone in his life has vanished or tried to kill him it seems. His mother recently left for her home lands apparently and he had no idea where his brother Vain went or his father. The only one left was Wraith who he was going to see but he left so long ago now. He was just afraid someone would take Renegade away, especially with his markings and the recent insanity going on in Iromar. It was just… better for now for him to stay here.

Istas nuzzled into the thin dirty fur of his man friend tail waving so lightly all the while, enjoying every moment of the contact that he was so starved for his whole life. It was amazing to have someone he knew he could just walk up to and lavish attention on without worry of what they thought of being awkward. Sure it was the first few times but now it was like he knew Renegade decently enough now that it no longer bothered the curly furred male. He didn’t know that slowly Renegade was patching himself up from his previous lover, in fact Istas had no idea that he even had any type of ‘love’ for him save the fact they gave each other good company and pleasure. That was how Istas saw it why would it be any more?

”Well at least someone is happy to see me.” He teased lightly poking the male on the cheek with his cold wet nose. ”I hope my brother will be just as excited and will open up to me.” Work was work after all, he was happy to see his brother an all but he did have a job to do and it has been eating him alive for ages trying to figure out where Andras’ daughter went and who killed the Queen.

Renegade’s offer for help caused Istas to chuckle lightly, ”A better thief you are, but what about when you are trying to steal information? Last I checked you have a bit of a dirty mouth that enjoys slinging insults. Not that I mind, but it’s not good when you are trying to wring something out of someone.” His white eyes focused on the brute for a minute giving a wide grin.

”But if you are so eager to go, I would love your company.” He said pressing gently into Renegade again. Urging him to come with him. As much as he would love some alone time there was a job to be done mean while Istas figured he would fill his cohort in on the way. ”Our Queen was murdered, you might have heard. I am going to find out who did it.” His tone was serious his gaze focused towards the direction of the forest pack that was his ultimate goal. ”It’s been bothering me that the daughter ran off… I can’t think of many reasons a daughter would kill her mother… so she had to be taken or something, it’s conflicting though.”

They never seem to catch my eye but I never wondered why
