Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Perfection is a Disease

She shakes her head vigorously. A frog. At least it wasn’t dangerous, but it was an ugly creature and ugly creatures were not to be trusted. They were filled with vanity. They wanted to look like those which were prettier than them, that’s why they were to be disposed of. no good ever comes of an ugly creature Kochanie her father’s words ring clear in her head. She continued to eye it wearily as she followed Mikhail, her shoulder brushing his body.

She did not know what to do in this strange land. Thankful for his guiding words telling her where to go. Part of her felt gratitude towards Mikhail for saving her from the dangerous creatures, the other part, sweating and unable to shake a feeling of unease.

The water was beautiful and secluded. Unlike the rest of the place, it was clear and relatively clean. She longed to stride into the pool and feel the cool water upon her skin, cleaning the muck and sweat from her body. She decided against it, she didn’t know what creatures may lurk in it.

”I am the first and only child of the stallion Krezpa. He was lead stallion of a large herd in the forests of Stracenie.” she stated. She did not know how to continue, whether to tell him of her long, lonesome journey. Surely he would be bored, there was not much to tell, and what there was, remained rather uninteresting.

Interrupting her thoughts was another. He stepped from the darkness which enveloped him. A similar shade and pattern to Mikhail with amber eyes like hers, the stallion was clearly dominant. He was unafraid, and intimidating. She shrank back when she saw him, but indignation soon followed not bad, not bad. She felt rather offended at his words, flicking her ears back slightly.

Her body began to shake involuntarily as he continued. She did not know what to say, even if she did she feared she would choke on them. Mikhail had promised her safety, but had he lied? This, this beast seemed to suggest he had. Perhaps there was danger in this land, but only here, where she stood. The thought caused her shaking to intensify. She moved her gaze from her hooves, aiming the meet Mikhail’s eyes.

why had he done this to her?
