The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

"Let me steal your breathe. Let your secrets spill like blood to fuel this fire."

It seemed almost a lifetime ago that I had traveled these lands. The stench of burning decay lingers though it must come from my memories. The land before me in nothing but a blackened mass of ash and bones. The trees twisted in a cruel manner of mocking apathy. My blue eyes are drawn down as my feet crunch upon brittle bones. Here once was one of my pack, one of my family. Perhaps one of the many warriors I had trained now left to nothing but crumbling bones. Long since had carrion picked this plan clean digesting with them the history and knowledge of all who now lay in this silent crypt of mockery.
Though my core family had made it out safely I had been taken my the wanderlust. The need to see if after many seasons our homeland had anything worth reclaiming. I had watched Seline take over and then her daughter Cade. Watched the rise and fall of the pack and still we struggled to make ends meet. To build the vastness of the armies of warriors we had before. The sadness had taken root deep within my icey heart. A need borne so deep into my very bones to bring my family back to safety. Me the beta, the enforcer, the kings assassin, trainer of the young, pack monster used to scare pups into acting right had a heart after all. Though many never learned of it the core of my family understood my coldness, my almost need to kill to protect. I have watched each grow and have families trained the next generation after next generation of solider. Never once taking a mate for myself or bearing any of my own spawn. My legacy was always to kill to protect and train the young. Yet after weeks and months of scouring what was left of our old land I knew this land would never be home again to us. Somehow we as a family needed to unite and learn to survive in Andre.
With a heavy heart I had turned away from my home, the very land that sung deep into my blood. There is no hope remaining here for the family. At this point I know I had been gone for almost a year. The pack had been crumbling when I left desperate to find a way to save my family. My brother Sal long gone, his last mission carried out. I wonder what has come of Cade, Qui, Silent Russia, Rai, Onyx and so many others I had trained.
As my foot steps draw me in closer to blossom forest I bury the grief and loss I never let show deep down inside. Letting in fuel the demon that wears my face. So many wolves speak of a demon, a monster, the need for blood as a separate beast. This is what keeps them from true potential. They fight and try to cage it. No I had instead learned to embrace it and make it my own, we had become one and the same. I do no struggle with it, no this demon is myself. I in turn had passed the secrets of fueling our demon onto my kin. With this knowledge nothing could stop us. If I had to beat fucking sense into Qui and his sister Cade like they were nothing but young pups again then by god I would do it.
It is nigh past time for the Satanican bloodline to rise again. Time for foolish pups to step aside and the warriors Sal and myself had trained to step forward. If I had to drag their bloody carcasses there then so be it.
Grey clouds seem to follow in my wake, though I am not so foolish as to really let myself believe that. No this storm is carried on the southern wind. It does not take long for the thunderheads to pass and overtake me as I enter the lands once more. Twin lighting forks flash overhead and a gentle roll of thunder caresses the earth, making her tremble in anticipation. Awaiting the touch of rain like a wolfess welcoming a lover. The sky gods do not keep her waiting long instead choosing to award the quivering of her flesh with a pelting almost punishing rain. Despite the ferocity of the downpour she opens and soaks the liquid into the very ground I walk on. Still she drinks even as puddles form and she can hold not more. My two-toned fur is splotched with mud of traveling. My war banner hanging regally behind me, water running down it giving the red splotches upon it the almost eerie appearance of blood. My two-toned body travels the border inspecting for scents without crossing. So much could change in a year, another could have overthrown my family.
To my surprise though the scents are faded, almost muted from existence. I do no brother sending out a call for my existence had always been best bourn in silence. I travel inwards slipping easily through the shadows of the forest. to many watching through the downpour I would look like a blood ghost. The left side of my body covered in the bloody red showing my bloodline, the right side of my body a starkly contrasting white along my spine the colors mix and blur keeping the division from being so alarming. My blue eyes seem to wander from place to place. I find a rock in a secluded area of the forest. One that Qui and Cade had fought a childish battle of dominance over during a pack meeting.
With little though my hind quarters bunch with well oiled ease as I launch skyward to land on the rock. Paws pads meet cold wet stone griping for purchase as thunder rakes the land once more. I turn my skull skyward as another bolt of lightening streaks across the heavens. If any of my family lingered I had left an easy trail to follow. Let them seek me out, I would not call of summon them like some mongrel omega. Nor would I seek them out like a simpering fool to ask forgiveness for disappearing. I had never been a peasant nor subject to their rule even whilst Cade ruled. I existed as a killing machine and enforcer answering to non but my own call to protect my family.
White lids settle over glacier filled blue orbs. Tense muscles begin to relax, knowing soon our blood would reign even if I single handily had to do it. Satanican blood would once again be feared and respected. To many it would seem as though I am sleeping, I pity any fool who truly believed they would have the upper hand. I let my skull drop onto dual colored forlegs. My breathing and heart rate settling even as the strum continued to beat again his lover.
