Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

MAGNUS
|| Glorall’s || Heartless || Haunts Fjallraven’s Soul ||

It was all blank now that he looked back, such was normal when the inner demon or beast, whichever he preferred to call it at the time, took over. It had been something that always happened to him since his childhood. When he finally came to a bit of blood in his maw and a few scratches to go with but otherwise unharmed he was slowly able to patch together or remind himself what he was throwing himself into before he had whited out. Why the hell did he put himself in these situations? Whatever, those bastards deserved whatever the demon gave them he was certain, for when he came too standing before the bloodied up form of Fjallraven. He was angry, and boy did he want them to suffer more than they had for what they had done to his pathetic little soul. She didn’t deserve it, even if she did look like a damn snack he wasn’t about to let some mongrels chew on her.

He didn’t expect gratitude from her when he did save her. It was strange as he came too her muzzle shoved in his chest terrified and bloody. He wasn’t sure what he felt in his chest then, it was warm, painful and felt like a damn bird found its way into his chest all at the same time. He couldn’t put his paw on the usual feeling and he thought for a moment that maybe he got hurt during that fray or something strange. While he didn’t like her touching him he didn’t dislike it either it was weird. But as she started licking him he had to draw the line as she flinched but started sucking up to him. ”Cut that out, we gotta get you to a healer or something. Glorall has a good one, I think.” He said though he didn’t come out half as grumpy as he wanted too. Still though he had to get this bloody mess there first

Can you walk? Thankfully she proved she could, shakily slow but at least he didn’t have to carry her. He moved with her a careful eye on the horizon watching for the wolves. He wasn’t sure what type of shape they were in, they might have just been chased off and came back but they were gone for now and with any luck they wouldn’t be coming back for another piece of him anytime soon. They were almost to Glorall and he could feel her energy fading long before he saw it visible. So… weird, it almost felt like it was draining him.

”Hey don’t you be passing out on me now.” Magnus didn’t know the first thing about healing other than salt water was apparently good, and painful, on wounds but cleaned them out or something. As she jerked pressing against his side he gave a discontent grunt before slipping his massive form underneath her own so that they were parallel her head on his shoulders while he walked further into the pack. She was so puny it was easy and he was finding traveling a lot faster for it.

He would get her to his den, then... then well he didn't know what the hell to do. Get the healer he guessed but he was pretty sure he saw that white pelted chick knocked up and heavy with pups and he wasn't one that was really good at asking for help. Dammit. Why did this girl have to cause him so many problems!? He didn't even really have a good den to shove her in. Maybe Viora did? Oh yeah like she would be happy with him shoving some half dead girl into her den. He didn't know what to do with this girl for now though he would go to his 'residence' of sorts and at least get her settled in there then maybe he could do something.

It wasn't far, he liked living as far away from everyone, except Viora, as possible. Maybe she just needed sleep, he didn't know not like he ever got beat up this bad before. Soon he saw the rock laden area that surrounded his den, the slow crash of waves not far in the distance as he carefully maneuvered himself down into the covered hole that was his 'den'. Skeletons of rabbits, and fish were littered about as well as some pelican feathers were strewn about the den's floor and he kicked them out of the way before rolling her off his back and on to the singular deer pelt on the floor that was his bed. "Here. Least it's warm, you can rest here I can find some healer or something to look at your or... something whatever they do." He was going to turn and leave unless she stopped him. Really he was sort of panicking. He didn't know what to do wit her what had to be done she was just some bloody mess in his den now and was probably more suited to joining the skeletons than being something he should help, but damn he couldn't help it he had to do something for her.

Look into my eyes;
It's where my demons hide.
