Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

It was hard getting a handle back over her emotions. It took several hours longer than it should have for the demon to finally cross into the lands of Glorall and when she did she was a blood soaked mess. She had her way, tearing through any small creature that got in her way spilling its blood and leaving it to the vultures on the way home. No one had to see her cry, hear the mania behind her laughs and sobs as she ripped those poor little creatures apart. She had a few scratches dawning her legs and face but nothing so serious that she wanted to be checked on. A bath… it was what she wanted now. She didn’t really feel better she still felt the pit of sadness sitting on her like a weight it was just she was in control of it again.

She never was good with emotions.

The dark coated fem moved deeper into her home though it didn’t feel like home right now, not yet at least. She knew what she still needed, Andras told her to go to where she was happy and she did know where that was. Cradled up with Malina and maybe their little parasites bodies and left to brood on what was to come and simply wait for the news to cross the lands. The feeling was still in her…. She couldn’t shake it and those feelings were usually correct. Just like that day when she met Malina and she KNEW she was special. Malina had seen her like this before, seen her covered in blood and literally a mess, but not again. The first river she found she plunged herself into flopping full force and going under for a moment before pulling herself to the surface once more.

There was a cloud of red flowing from her form where she had plunged in but soon it was gone. Her ears flicked about slightly wondering if by now her kids and Malina have returned from the mountain. She hoped so. Crossing the river and making it to the bank she shook out her short black fur, drying herself quickly in the sun that was much too bright for her feelings. She would see if they had returned, see if she could find comfort in them. Perhaps they liked the mountains more than her, she had to wonder if being with their ‘father’ was good and if Malina found comfort in her soul. She would have to see, right now she just sought the comfort of something familiar while still trying to act as if nothing was wrong. Not in front of the kids would she show this weakness… only Mal would be told the truth of the matter but her children’s company certainly would be welcome.
