News - 6/19/21
Summer is here and Fall is short around the corner. There is unrest as it stands but, perhaps it is to our advantage. Let no one question our strength. Those who wish to speak on rank, seek me out. If anyone wishes to put a hunt together inform me. Adults or others who wish to rise in rank may seek me out.

“I love you, But we've got to hurry,” and so he speeds himself, diverts them and turns her towards the four chambered dens, dug into clay and soil beside and into one another so the result was that the brothers all denned together, yet separate.

natu had never precisely been here, or at least not for long, but it is here that his children seemingly were determined to come into the world. he guides her to the one that was second from the left, into the mouth where he had often gone in the nights he could not follow his mate home. it was a large enough cul de sac for himself to stand, feeding out from floor to grass with a bare dip that allowed him to stand at his natural height with ease and allowed natu plenty of clearance.

the four’s hobbit hole, of sorts, was empty of the other inhabitants, likely for the fact that the others too had mates, save neirin, and his brother was often caught mourning the loss of his love by the shore where he claimed they had played and he had convinced her to stay.

he felt for his brother, but he was most concerned by the moans and flinches of his mate at present. he remains without as she circles and makes herself as comfortable as women can be in labor, his giving her room not out of detachment, but knowing that in the heat of the moment, she might think him a good leather on which to chew out her frustration. also privacy, his natu deserved at least privacy, so he sat at the mouth of the cave, lay down so she was almost entirely engulfed by the blades of grass, and waited.

“Fenrir, look, sons,” he hears and with a whine like a whisping ghost, he inches forward on his belly, kept against the earth and looking funnier for the fidgeting scootching that brings his muzzle and then head past the mouth of the den-- and while his eyes brighten a moment, his ears flatten in concern afterwards as his mate is once again taken by the pain. “That is all,” she says after the last, he can see it is a boy and he is shocked that bahamut would find his line so riddled with male children -- when jaye’s spirit laughed, looking down on the little mother and breathed a sigh of joy into the last of her children.

a tease to remind his father that she too had stakes in this game and would not see a mother burdened with sons and nothing left for joy in a daughter.

or it is how seamus would one day tell of it.

“not done, my love, my life. a daughter too.” he whispers as her head lays on the earth and breaths, fenrir crawling a few inches close and licking out as if he might reach the pups so deep in the den and away from him. “Arthfael, Alistair, Alexander, and Ankh. Come Fenrir. Look at our children.”

and the ears on his head perk, surprised by the names, and yet suddenly not so. Arthfael, for he was large as a bear. alistair, the helper who pushed his brother from out of his mother to end her suffering. alexander, the stubborn boy who helps ease the passing of his sister to come after. ankh, for the marks of her eyes that streamed down her body.

“they are too handsome for words.” he murmurs, rising a little more to properly creep into the den and aid in the cleaning of his children and realizing with a crushing ache in his chest that he had never before been gifted this opportunity. nanruan women kept men out for weeks, sometimes, before pups were introduced.

he nuzzles the third born and his sister towards his mate’s belly at last, then, and turned his tongue against the cheek of his mate.
