Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

The boy was on the farthest western border wondering among the towering trunks of the trees, why he was there was that last night an idea had come to him. The idea was simple in his thoughts but was lengthy in the time it took, however it may help his training as a healer. He was memorizing plants, he may not know them now but he could ask Riopat about them later or maybe she'll give him the answers he was looking for with him needing to speak. He stopped what he was doing when he thought he had heard a howl; however being in a wooded area next to the shore could cause an allusion should there be a sudden gust of wind. Despite the boy's uncertainty he stopped examining a particularly prickly plan and began to make his way toward the shore where he might get a clearer sound. As he broke the cover of the trees he heard another call without the obstruction of trees, a smile broke across his face realizing that Riopat was looking for him, he allowed himself to break into a run towards the place where her voice resonated from.

It didn't take long for the pale female to come into sight, Riopat was with another female. The stranger was younger than he, and smelled somewhat familiar. "Please excuse my tardiness." He said then turned to the younger of the two, "I'm Sciathàn, and you are?" Once she introduced herself; he’d sit quietly and listen to whatever wisdom Riopat would wish to share with them.

this is his thoughts this is him speaking
