Iblis had kindly taken his turn in watching over their newest sons while Rhae went out about the pack lands in her duties, as well as enjoying the chance to stretch her legs. She hardly minded Motherhood, but it was nice to get up every once and awhile and move. And when she rounded the Western part of the territory, the familiar scent of a certain young female wolf and that of pine reached her. She found a warm smile caressing her handsome features as she turned to approach, coming from the North. When the girl came into view, she truly was a girl no longer, fully grown now as was the mostly middle child of hers. With Zeltzin came thoughts of her son, of course, for undoubtedly he was the reason she was here this day. Perhaps it might not be said outright, but a Mother always knew, and it shone in her bright teal eyes as they found the fire gaze of the girl. So much life there, so much vigor- truly, Rhae could not be happier with such a thing, and she knew that Lucero and her would go far together, wherever they liked. Be it here in Asteraia, or even Taviora if they so chose. She would not attest to Lu leaving his claim to the 'throne.' Heart and soul meant so many things- and even if she were just heart, it would mean the entire world she knew.

Silence hangs but for a moment before she speaks, tenor tones gliding through the space between them in warmth and welcome. "Zeltzin, it is so very good to see you this lovely Spring day." The Mother of Asteraia is all genuine and no pretend, just as she is lighthearted and warm and never serious unless absolutely needed. Only in the ultimate danger are drastic measures needed, and though perhaps her other half might not see it as such, she herself surely does. And that is what mostly matters. And, maybe it is a bit much, but after her greeting Rhae does close the gap between them. Gently, as to not impede, does she touch the side of her muzzle against Zeltzin's own. Warmth and care are all too obvious in the touch, as is welcome to wherever the used-to-be girl was headed. Curiosity though catches Rhae, and her voice is soon to be heard again between them, perhaps after the young wolf had given her own hello. "Do you come with word from your Father, or for another reason?" Even as she gazes evenly upon the other, she simply cannot help the knowing from her face, her eyes, her smile- from everything. And yet while she does indeed know the cause of this meeting, not yet does she know the affect. It doesn't cross her mind that the wolf would want to make home here, as Rhae is not a presumptuous individual. She would in fact be elated with such a thing, and time would reveal all when it would, and for now was content to simply talk with the young one.

They had met fleetingly in the multi-pack hunt, but had hardly the opportunity to get to know one another. Now was their chance, and with such thoughts come the reclining of her large frame upon her large haunches. Rhae was relaxed in her stance and manner, easy going as ever in hopes that Zeltzin might soon join her in such things. She wanted her to feel at home, after all; though she hardly understood the extent of and irony of such a thing.
