 And it's consequences keep you up at night. He stunk of the Lagoon. It branded him, engulfed him now, that the tawny stallion once again called the lowly place home. He thought that his return to the Lagoon would give him some sense of purpose, or renewal, but the same feelings of ill will still stirred inside of him. Kasabian wasn't sure what drew him back to The Lost Islands. Finding it the first time had been an adventure of sorts. He had made fabulous friends, those that had seemingly disappeared. His second return, though not fueled with the same child-like vigor, had been hopeful and and determined. He had set foot on the islands with a purpose and goal to be band stallion. He did that, though he failed miserably. And now he was here a third time, with less direction or any real feelings about it at all. He had no place else to go. That was the only answer he knew. The men in the Lagoon seemed wary of him. It was too soon after his recent rule over the Ridge for them to forget that he was a band stallion - a previous enemy, even if he was a Lagoonie long before he washed up on the Ridge. He had grown bored of ambling around the Lagoon alone, so he struck off for the common lands, the Lagoon's signature muck crusted at the hairs that met the coronet band of his hooves. Emerald eyes studied the few strangers he passed on his way to the Falls. Golden lobes flickered forward and back, registering the bellowing sound of the endless display of water, before dropping his profound head to its bank, and parting his lips to drink.
