Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Perhaps the lack of a father figure in my life had been a hard blow on my psyche, I had never known my real sire... Weylin had died when I was young and miss Everchimes soul hadn't been overly protective of either of them. Perhaps all these absences in my life had some how taught me subconsciously that it was alright to be distant as a male in a relationship. Deep in my heart of hearts I didn't want this to be true I could see the hurt in her tired eyes, I knew that I had done wrong once again, I could hear it in her words as she spoke of what she had to do in her crisp business like tones. Then she asks me to find something, something important and I force myself back into the here and now, cobwebs yes I could find that.

"Yes yes... I can do that" I am aware of what the simple things look like, like mint for bad breath and tummy aches, salt water if you ingest something foul. Miss Everchime had been in training for a healer when I'd lost her. So off I went to find clean cobwebs and when I returned I was sure I had far more than what she required, "I have returned" my voice is muffled by my mouth full of cobwebs and I struggle to get them off delicately with my big paws.

"I am so so sorry I was not here for you Riopat," I say as I lay my head close to hers to hand her the cobwebs. "Tess had placed me as charge of his daughter... he... he didn't wish for grandchildren so soon into her joining with the young wolf Sinclair" I knew personally what it felt like to be parted from one's soul as the two had been but Tess had been doing what any father might do I suppose.

"I wish I had been the one to tell you of it... I truly did not want you to hear from another, I did meet with Vega though it wasn't for anything but to talk I was mostly there to keep my eye on the princess." I shuffled a bit but a soft rumble of laughter left my lips, "the princess wasn't easy to keep an eye on either, ya know she might make a good spy with training." I coughed slightly and looked down at our children, "now my dear I hope I got here in time to learn their names?"

"this is how he speaks"
