He is different than his brother in so many ways, but most especially their appearance. Where vlad is his father’s bloodied color, panzer is almost entirely white like his mother. the way that seamus put it, there is a yolk of his mothers sensibility on his brother and a yolk of his great aunt’s determination on himself. there is something to it, he supposed, so curious how his brother always seemed without qualm or drive, while showing a distinct intelligence and (to panzer) should therefore be far more curious than quiet.
he watches with his mother’s eyes as the figure of vladimir begins towards the forbidden world of brightness and green and blue and white. the confidence of the elder brother bleeds into the explorative nature of the white one and off they head, though before he can make it out to vladimirs side, a red, white, and gray girl bursts past and runs into vladimir who almost snarls, semele saved by his catching sight of their littlest sister.
panzer, while the red brother is inquired after, looks out over the world in front of them in far more awe than his elder brother and with no shortage of dropped jaw or splayed giant saucer paws.
“Anze you're safe too!” she yips, bounding over and licking his cheek as he stares out over the vast foreverness of asteraia rolling hills and flattened plains.
“It's so pretty.” she says as camilla walks amongst them in her usual utterly silent way.
he is in awe of their vastly more differing colors, too. he as white as snow, camilla as black as a night with no Moon Mother, Vladimir as red as the blood of his mother’s food freshly killed, and his sister as strangely mingled as if taking the fur off each of her other siblings. he almost misses the other girl entirely, so like a mixture of semele and camilla that she blended in rather well to the gathered troop. she had streaks of white beneath her eyes as semele had along her belly, but was as black with a little fading to a darker brown than could easily be distinguished if it wasn’t for the bright before-noon-light.
“Vlad, she didn’t mean it, right? Milly, mommy would scold if she saw you. You know she can still tell when you’re saying mean things with your eyes...” he scolds, turning back to Ankh with a tilt of his head.
“I saw you once through the door when I almost made it outside the first time… my name is Panzer… what’s yours?”
