Waiting with all the patience a little one could ever possess. Her little body pacing back and forth at the den entrance, wiggling and making it almost impossible to walk a straight line as every so often she trips over her own feet in her struggle to contain her excitement of seeing Hazie. Pale green eyes glancing briefly back to mommy as she grins around the stem, revealing those pearly white baby teeth. Little ears hear her mommy's rasped chuckle and instinctively her tongue darts out to blow a kiss to her mommy; though impaired by the stem it did not deter her from making sure her mommy received her love. She loved seeing mommy happy, her little heart pounding as if it would explode from the sheer delight the little one was going through in this moment. It is then pale eyes turn back to the plains, as she stumbles yet again in her writhing state, momentarily shutting her eyes as her wagging tail comes into contact with her nose. For a moment she pauses, eyes crossing as if to examine the hit as her nose wrinkles and pulls at the slight sting. Checking her flower to make sure it had not been harmed. A soft snort escapes along with a giggle before she begins once more, more careful to make sure that in her excitement her rump did not bend so far that her own tail could be used as a weapon. But it is then all thoughts seen to vanish as a familiar scent reaches her nose.
She freezes, holding her breath as pale eyes seem to light up. The display of emotions that can be seen in her eyes was remarkable, never hiding how she felt and as she see's him closing in those pale green eyes seem to burn with adoration. As gently as possible she sets down the fluffy flower knowing what was coming next could perhaps maim it beyond repair. As she looks back, she has to look up almost teetering backwards at the sheer size of her hazie, as it forces her to sit; the sound of her tail thumping on the dirt floor seems to match the beat of her heart. It is his voice that seems to flip that switch, though she knew it was not nice not to answer him right away she no longer could contain her happiness. Like a rabbit she springs, bouncing upon her back legs as she licks and paws at whatever her little body can reach. Soft and gentle sounds escaping her lips as she shows Hazie how much she had missed him since the last time, which to her had felt like years when it had only been yesterday. As she lathers him in affection her voice breaks in between her greeting.
"HAZIE!" As she lowers and begins to weave in and out of his legs, licking at his paws.
"Are you hungry? Sleepy? Fhirtsy?" As she looks up from between his legs where she had settled. Standing as her head tilts so far back that a slight pain begins but she all but forgets the discomfort in the face of Hazie's, should he be in any.
"I missed you." She says in a softer tone. It is then she remembers his question as she wiggles between his legs, bouncing off of them like a ball.
"Yes silly, mommy said I could."
It is at his next question she remembers her present for him as her little voice seems to chirp in delight, for hazie knew everything even if he could not see out of his pretty eyes. It is then she parts from between his front legs dashing to where she had lain his fluffy flower upon the soil, as she gently picks it up and turns back to face him. Mumbling around the stem carefully.
"I got you a fluffy flower." She beams.
"It looks like mommy.." The gentle and soothing tone in her voice reveals the love she has for her mommy. As she moves to place it at his big feet, before stepping back to look up at him. It is then she remembers something,
"Oh! Be careful though hazie, the fluffy part does not like to get wet.." As she then whispers the next, hoping mommy did not hear.
"...took me forever to get that fluffy out of my mouth." She giggles so softly, as if she was sharing some top secret information. Trusting him without fear. Even though she did not think mommy would be too mad about that, she did not ever want her mommy mad at her. As a soft and sweet sigh escapes, her tail thumping upon the dirt. Calming slightly at the fleeting release of her pent up energy. Yet that happiness of having him him here still seemed to shine through. For this was her super hazie and nothing could deter her feelings at seeing him today.
