Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

I need not wait long for my shadow to find his way to me once more, that devilish grin of his a welcome sight. His silver eyes were quick to flash over me, a hunger in them that almost made them burn hot. To top it off, he licked his lips like the predator I knew he was. This is the enderly I had grown so fond of in the short time we had known each other. He was MINE until I grew tired of him and disposed of him. This fact displeased him, but here was one that would satisfy him if he knew it: there was a strong possibility I may never grow tired of having him around. So my demon, do entertain your goddess and you may find yourself with a permanent seat beside my throne.

"Goddess divine, it is you again Eris. Was Heaven not enough for you that you must come back to Earth? Ah, wait, that isn't it. You missed me didn't you? Every Angel needs her Demon," he taunts playfully, and I listen with quiet hum of pleasure at hearing his voice, my tail swishing gently side to side. I natural grin finds its way across my lips and I stared down at him with my calm blue eyes; the same ones that many had trouble looking into for long, except for my Enderly. "My dearest disciple Enderly, if you had been to Heaven, you would know how terribly mundane it is, so white and perfect, and you would desire nothing more than to be on earth as well." I say, my voice so smooth and silky.

I rose from my throne and descended to be on a more equal level with him and to just be closer. I was so tempted to simply reach out and touch him, but I was far more practiced in the art of restraint than submission to temptation. Now of course, I would have no quarrels if he wanted to touch me, to stain my white wings with his black flames. "I only returned to heaven for the simple fact that even a goddess has frivolous things she needs to...dispose of. But not even that could keep me from returning to you," I say, somewhat explaining my absence and then toying with his taunt. In truth I had missed him, but he was not the full reason for my return. For now though, I would humor him.

"Though I am saddened for what I have learned upon my return to earth," I say, feigning hurt and turning away in a rather dramatic fashion. "That my most dear disciple held no faith that his goddess would return. Its a shame really. Which leaves me to wonder how life has scorned him so that he cannot put even the smallest amount of faith in I," I say, turning around to face him more, a look of questioning and curiosity written plain as day on my face. Maybe it was because I wasn't the most trustworthy of wolves around or the fact that something had happened somewhere in his life to steal away his faith, trust, and pixie dust. Either way, I knew for a fact he did not believe I would return to moladion, by the simple fact that every wolf I had talked to to pin point his where abouts had been female, meaning he has been quite the busy bee in my absence.

Dear Enderly, I have ears and eyes everywhere, with wits to match, I will not be deceived on this day or any other day for that matter.
