Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

strange things have happened here,
no stranger would it be

There had been enough things going on recently. The last thing she wanted, was to hear her name being called out. It caused her ears to perk as she lay in her den. Her comfortable den where she was enjoying a damn nap, only to be bothered. But who the hell would be calling her out, so persistent, so annoying?

Oh yeah, there is only one wolf in the world who would be that freaking annoying. Tristian.

The sound was like nails on rock. The Diomedes wrinkles her node, exposing fang in irritation as her so called brother. She was living just fine without him. She will always be on the hunt for the female who killed her mother, but she was doing just fine with Tristian. Could he survive this world without her though? She was the tough one. She is the one who can handle the rough parts of life, and he is the one to crumble and run. She could not have gone through the rest of her life without him trying to cling to her, could she? Of course she was not the fortunate. Perhaps, she did not make their last meeting clear enough.

With a huff, the svelte fem came from her den. Her light form made quick ground as she pumped her brindled legs at lightning speed. Her face may be a natural thing of beauty, but it was covered by the snarl upon her face and the small scars from battles past. She followed the horrid sound of her brother, her blue eyes catching sight of him among the grasses on the edge of Glorall.

She does not slow her face as her blue narrow, like laser sights set on her target. As far as she was concerned, he was an intruder. He was no longer a member here, no longer welcome, and he can get the hell away from these borders. She did not care that she was a light thing, and that her brother was much heavier. She actually knew how to maneuver her body, how to read others and sink in her fangs at the right spot. As she approached, she did not slow her running pace. In fact, she attempted to slam her shoulder into his chest from his left side. She would then attempt to snap her jaws around his upper scruff. Perhaps, if he shuts up, she may end her fury, but as far as she is concerned, he is just another thing to chew on after failing to help mother.

to meet at midnight in the hanging tree.
